maybe its just me but shouldnt the Future guys be on par with Legends?i think so and heres my 2 cents why ...
1.most of the legends guys come from the 70's and 80's which the only wrestling today that comes even close is Indy wrestlers of to day.
2.looking at primes of wrestlers i think a guy like Arik Cannon would crush a guy like Sabu.
3.it would just make sence to me to push Indy guys who really work hard in this business they are the standard bearer .i mean you see it week to week.go to an indy house show see a sick move then watch wwe or tna and see that move stolen.
and thats my story and im sticking to it .im not saying ones better than the other but but LOTF guys should be on par with LOW

I know myself and Knapik have discussed this before and I agree Pride. Really lame for people to think just because you are in the WWE, you are a great wrestler while if you are on the Indy scene, you stink.
Way back when, there were dozens and dozens of territories and no "giant ones" unlike today, so it's really hard to make comparisons between yesterday and today.

But to be fair, there are a lot of good wrestlers in the ring, some of which wrestle the old school style (Cena (and he does), HBK, Taker, Triple H) and do it quite well. There are a lot of guys on the indy scene who rely too much on spots and pointless head drops and near falls, because in all seriousness, you take flips/spots and head drops away from most of the ROH roster, there's not a whole lot left. Thankfully, there isn't really anyone like that in LOTF.

Ohh I agree wholeheartedly switchfoot, but many just think if you are on the indy scene, and not in the WWE, you just stink and aren't on par with yesterday's wrestlers. I just think it's an unfair sentiment and goofy thought process. Wrestling today is just totally different, so it's hard to compare

I mean, there's a lot of good guys on the indy scene (Necro, ALBRIGHT, Keith Walker, Davey Richards, Danielson (though recent reports imply he's E-bound), I guess that mentality will always be around, though.

I think Jon did a great job with the stats in putting these guys stats in line with the existing Legends given their overall resume. They will give some guys a run for their money, but obviously won't be able to beat Harley Race.

Whats really hurting indy wrestling is the fact that territories really do not exist the way it was and the fact that most people can see the WWE and TNA wrestlers on TV more so then seeing guys that they normally wouldn't. There are a ton of talented wrestlers around the world indy and not who are not in the main feds who fans don't know about and that is unfair to that wrestler to have his or her stats not comparable with legends. I thinks stats on wresters (legends or future) should be done not only on where they wrestled but rather what they have accomblished in the sport, mind you I do agree with TM that a guy who wins an indy title 8 times would not beat an 8 time world champion like Harley Race.

I agree there are plenty of very good indy wrestlers. I for one do not discount someone because they've never been in the WWE.
But Legends the game has to place each wrestler the best they can in the context of the entire history of the sport. So while some of you say a guy like Christopher Daniels should be on par with the top stars in LOW right now, there will be other people who look at it and say no - Daniels shouldn't be beating the likes of Race, Baba, Bockwinkel, etc. Also most of the people on the indy scene you're talking about haven't had a long enough career to think they should rank with the best ever. My two cents.
