Kurt Angle Upset With His WWE Wrestler Ranking
Kurt Angle has posted the following on Twitter:
I was #34 of Wwe All time Greatest? Tell You what, take Me off the list. I'd rather not be on it, if I wasn't top 5. Who Ranks Wrestlers?
I have never been More Insulted By Wwe top 50.#34 to Me Is a kick to the balls!Take Me out of ratings.please.U think fans will buy that crap
Wow, where to start? Kurt Angle is in no one's Top 5 all-time WWE list. Hogan, Austin, Rock, Undertaker, HBK, Macho Man, HHH, Cena, Edge, Jericho all right there off top of my head would be rated above Angle by nearly everyone I'm sure.
And what is in the water down there in TNA that turns all these ex-respected WWE mega-stars into complete psycho's? I've said it before and I'll say it again. Angle, the Hardy's, proof the WWE does a hell of a job keeping their guys in line. Just goes to show how much some of these guys need the machine. Without it they become blubbering twattwer whores in TNA, seemingly hell bent on ruining the very legacies they once worked so hard to create before they got there.
I keep hoping Kurt Angle will shake whatever demons that have been haunting him for so long, sober up and come back to the WWE for one final run. Then I see stuff like this and remember why he wrestles in TNA.

Yeah, Angle's got a huge ego, is convinced he could be doing MMA and wants to do the Olympics again. I don't think his elevator quite hits every floor anymore.

Hell, at least he made the top 50. The way he's acting these days, I'd be ashamed to put him on any list (with the exception of maybe the psych ward list?). C'mon Angle, rise above this.

Yeah, Angle's got a huge ego, is convinced he could be doing MMA. Actually, he is so deluded he claims that UFC recently offered him a deal which Dana White has admitted is a complete lie. BTW - Angle makes my top five and always has. Hate TNA but won't let that affect my feelings on his WWE run. He's probably my second favorite all time after Jericho.

In his prime, no one was better than Kurt Angle - in the ring, on the mic, he was the total package. He'd probably make my all-time most favorite list too. If I were asked to make a 'top 5 all-time WWE' list though, trying to be unbiased, I couldn't do it. Had he stayed in the WWE for his whole career it's hard to think he wouldn't be in the conversation though.

He really shouldn't get offended by these silly lists, and i don't know why WWE is still doing them. No one takes them seriously. I will say, even though Angle made it big, looking back, his run doesn't seem so long anymore. What? 7 years from beginning to end? I mean when he went to TNA he effectively ended his career.

At least his delusions of Grandeur are less destructive (and self-destructive) than other guys that have probably taken too many head shots and too many drugs.
I agree that he was awesome during his run, but it was pretty short... I might think about putting him in the top five for his decade(with Austin, Rock, HHH, and Jericho) but not all time. Even there, you have Taker, Foley, Edge etc that are very easily could be put ahead of him.
