apparently PWG has a show on October 22- the same day as Galactical!

Steen Wolf takes place on Saturday, October 22 at 8:00PM at American Legion Post #308 in Reseda, CA. Tickets for this event are on sale now at the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Tickets Page. Already scheduled to appear are:

I really like Steen Wolf as a show title. PWG has also had a show called "Smells Like Steen Spirit" and someone on the PWG board earlier this week suggested "Not Another Steen Movie" as a possible future show name- but I do not like that idea as much. But since Saturday's PWG show has Kevin Steen defending the PWG World Championship against former champion Davey Richards of the American Wolves, it seems like "Steen Wolf" would have been more appropriate for Saturday's show instead of next month's show. If PWG has a November show (last year they did not,) it is unlikely I can make it as I only have one weekend free that month. But since I am going to be in the area anyway for Galactical on October 22nd, I bought myself a ticket to Steen Wolf.  I bought a front row seat for Steen Wolf since I saw it was written on the website for Galactical 2011 that some Galactical attendees have already purchased front row seats to this show. And since front row fans now get in the Legion Hall first, we can save the second row behind us for anyone going with a general admission ticket. Glalactical and my favorite fed PWG on the same day! For wrestling, it does not get any better than this! |

on PWG's twitter, it was announced today that Chuck Taylor will wrestle Ricochet at Steen Wolf. That match was originally supposed to happen earlier this year at PWG's Al Star Weekend 8 Night 2 but then Taylor got hurt the night before at PWG's All Star Weekend 8 Night 1.
on another tweet, it was also announced that Los Luchas will be making their PWG return at Steen Wolf for the first time in almost a year and a half

The Steen-Generico Ladder match should be epic! Tom liked El Generico at the Chikara weekend, so I'm sure he will like that match...although im sure it will be much more brutal than Team 3.Ole matches.
Taylor-Riccochet should be good as well. Those guys have worked with eachother a ton of times, so they should put on something good.
Wonder who the Young Bucks will face. Cole and O'Riley and them put on a great match at ROH a few months back from what I hear.

I am hoping I can go to both PWG's Steen Wolf and to Galcatical that day (I already have a flight to Burbank booked and a front row seat purchased for this show and I think I can go, but I have to get excused from something first by my administration that I found out about just last week- I should know more this week.) I think it looks like Future Shock will wrestle the Young Bucks that night as both tag teams have been announced for the show with another tag team match of the Dynasty vs Los Luchas already announced. probably either the Bucks or the RockNES Monsters |
