In what is likely a work due to the story line firing of Kevin Nash this past Monday night on Raw, WWE.com has posted the following:
"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Kevin Nash as of Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. We wish Kevin the best in all future endeavors."
_______________________________________________
Remember a few weeks ago when WWE copyrighted "Future Endeavored, Mr. Future Endeavored and Future Endeavors"?
Looks a lot more like Mr. Future Endeavored is going to be Nash, Future Endeavored will be his new finisher and Future Endeavors will be Lauranitis' new stable. That's my guess.
Between this developing news and rumors of Rock wrestling at SS (which I predicted cuz it only makes sense) Survivor Series could be pretty good. Team Rock vs. Team Cena and Team Nash vs. Team Punk. Maybe HHH is a full fledged heel by then too.
On a related note, anyone else tired of the firing angles? Vince over-used the hell out of this gimmick. Then on RAW HHH pulls a "I might just fire you after our match" to Punk. YAAAAAAAAAAWWWWN. Makes HHH look like a total wimp. At least Vince was an old man. Firing people eliminated them. HHH can still fight. How about not be like Vince at all and not use this played out angle anymore. It also makes zero sense. HHH just talked about how re-hiring Punk was "good for business" but 3 weeks later he's threatening to fire him? And a few weeks ago Punk didn't give a crap if he was fired, but now it's supposed to be a threat? C'mon WWE WTF bro.

Yeah, it's gone from a cool idea to just boring. I think you hit the nail on the head, Swarm, about where they're going with this angle.

Yeah this bothered me too... along with Triple H's line of "this match between you and me isn't about business... it's personal." Makes Triple H look like he has paper thin skin that he can't even go a month or so as COO without letting his emotions get involved. Weak.

Wish it were true.
All this is just sloppy writing…plain and simple. There are probably 30 people on this board who wouldn’t make the kinds of detail-oriented mistakes in their feds that WWE make constantly. I’m sure there’s a ‘plan’ here…but the past few months has seemed slapped together rather than some well conceived, elaborate storyline being played out. For a while it was really working, but that was pretty much all Punk’s charisma that did that…and now that its turned into something that is being produced and storyboarded (and not very well apparently), its not as fresh as it was…and even Punk is starting to lose his edge. Shame. It can still turn around though…

There's only one way I'd be happy with this storyline;
Nash walks out a NoC and helps Trips attack Punk. Suddenly, either Cabana or the Kings of Wrestling run out and help Punk, revealing that Punk knew he was going to be stabbed in the back and had a back-up plan all along and really is as smart as he was at Mitb.
Cue team Punk vs. Team Trips at SS.
I'm not counting on the above happening, but I'd love if it did.

I almost feel like Punk is dangerously close to being booked like every other stupid face the WWE puts out there - aka just like Cena -- always getting distracted by stupid shit, turning his attention away from his opponents for no reason, falling into traps one after the other etc... Punk isn't that guy. You're right. He should be the one who is smarter than that and beats the heels to the punch. anyone else see these - Nash commented on his "WWE release" on Twitter To set the record straight, I passed physical w/ flying colors. Cardiologist was amazed at my lipid profile. Couldn't reach financial terms.
I will not be addressing this matter again. I am moving forward with my life. Cena, it was great having the chance to get to know you.Interesting. Can't tell if this is real or not. If it was a work why mention the physical (which ties to the rumors that the reason Punk vs. Nash was scrapped was because of failed physical by Nash) and why the shout out to Cena? Unless way later we find out Cena is in on all this somehow. On the other hand if this was legit real Nash would be trashed out of his mind cussing up a storm and burying everyone in WWE. So it's hard to say. Nash did appear to be drunk (or something) on RAW, slurring his words vs. Punk. Maybe he really did get let go because of this? Kanefusing. I like it. Keep me guessing WWE.

Rock wrestling before Mania is the ultimate sign of desperation. Especially him and Cena being in a match together.

Considering ratings are on the low end of the range they've been in the last couple years BEFORE MNF starts, they may well be desparate.
I'll believe the Rock gets in the ring when it actually happens.
As far as Nash goes, he's definitely been full of it before... he could be lying and not wanting to admit he failed a physical so he can go back to TNA. He could be telling the truth. It could be an angle.
While I agree that it's good that you can't tell, I really am having trouble caring at this point. The HHH thing was just so bad.
Maybe they'll save it in the weeks ahead

Everyone saw Kevin Nash leave in the limo with John Lauranitis on Monday night.
The story of Kevin Nash's release was apparently originally dated Monday, but posted Tuesday.
Kevin Nash was once a part of a tag team with Shawn Michaels as the Two Dudes with Attitudes...
Johnny Ace was once a part of a tag team with Shane Douglas as the Dynamic Dudes...
...maybe they can bring back Mick Foley to reprise his Dude Love persona and form some sort of super stable. Forget the nWo. The three of them could even skate board to the ring together!
