It looks like on a whim several of us at work have picked up this game on 360 and if anyone here is interested in Co-Op zombie survival hit me up. Maybe we can make it off the island alive.

I'm thinking of getting the game today, but I keep reading about people having trouble with a corrupted save glitch. At the moment, that's the only thing keeping me on the fence about the game.

I played it all last night with a couple of friends and fired up my game this morning to no problems. I'll find out tonight if my friends had any issues, but I can say this; The Game is Glitchy. No doubt about it, but man is it fun. There's just nothing quite like the feeling of taking a lead to up side the head of zombie and then everyone circling around the corpse on the ground and s**t kicking it into submission. It is just so odd and fun, ah good times.  |

Okay got it, the special edition. Started at Xien, then started over with Purna because of her bonus to melee combat and kicking (my 2 favorite attacks). I just got to the top of the hill, grabbed the truck, and ran over a bunch of zombies. I also have the blueprints for the ripper mod, but I haven't found a baseball bat yet. Instead, I have about a half dozen fully-upgraded cleavers.

Very nice, i never found the ripper mod that's to bad, don't worry you'll come across bats soon enough. I'm currently in Act II on Xian and kind of playing around with Sam B. and his defensive buffs.
Purna is invaluable in a party. With her aura buffs she is always ideal to have in group.

Yeah, finally found the bat and made a ripper. Yesterday, I ran just ran all the way around the beach area killing zombies and seeing what I could find. I also lost about $500 in deaths. Guess they're pretty tough on the beach as well.

yeah buddy! I have had this game since last tuesday and love it... haven't found any of the so-called glitches and have spent close to 60 hours on the game...second time through and almost done with a second character...
Love this game and any zombie like gamer should definitely pick it up!

yeah buddy! Love this game and any zombie like gamer should definitely pick it up! A lot of those glitches are even gone now with patches coming online now. But absolutely right any zombie gamer really should experience this game. |

I now have 3 Rippers, just so I always have a back-up in case a workbench isn't nearby. It's thus far become my favorite weapon.
I do find it weird though that you can jump into someone else's game without their permission. Yesterday, I was walking around when suddenly this other guy just appeared and started following me around. I told him I was just exploring but I'd help him with any mission he had, but he dissapeared. Strange.

Money is super tight right now, so I had to choose between God of War Origins and Dead Island. God of War won this time, but I know I will be able to get Dead Island down the road.
