Murdock lunges at JYD at the two began brawling all the way to the back where they're finally separated by wrestlers and officials.
MID-SOUTH TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH
THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS : DENNIS CONDREY***** & BOBBY EATON*** (C) /w/ Jim Cornette
beat by PIN
THE ROCK-N-ROLL EXPRESS : RICKY MORTON**** & ROBERT GIBSON**
THIS MATCH WAS INSTANT CLASSIC! Which had the fans on the edge of their seats from beginning to end. Morton had Condrey pinned following a beautiful DOUBLE DROP KICK but Eaton made the pin save. Then the tide turned and it was Morton being pinned after a MIDNIGHT MASSACRE but he resiliently got his foot on the bottom rope to stop the count. Momentum swung back and fourth with both teams having severals chances to win but it was when the Ref took a sick bump and was knocked out when things went haywire. While the ref was out Robert locked Condrey in the GIBSON LEGLOCK and Lover Boy Dennis was screaming he gives up but there was no official to call for the bell. Using this opportunity Cornette tossed his Tennis Racket to Beautiful Bobby who first used it to smash Ricky Morton, knocking him off the apron and to the arena floor. Then he wound up a smacked Gibson right in the back of the head, knocking him out cold. He then pulled Condrey on top of the prone Robert Gibson as Cornette revived the ref, who made the controversial three count.
