Anyone else feel like Big Show has purposely been kept off of TV so that he can return as part of nWo part 56? I do. IF (and this is a big IF considering how poorly WWE has been lately with finishing their storylines) they plan to build off of CM Punk's comments about how "Someone wanted ADR to be the WWE Champion" (and they show this on the re-cap packages so I think it means something) then I expect ADR to be part of the group with Nash, Big Show (tag team?) and Lauranitis. Maybe another guy or two.
Who else would work in the new age nWo along with ADR, Nash and Show?

If that happens, I guess I'll be playing video games on Monday nights.

I dunno if Big Show is not on TV for that reason, but nothing surprises me any more. I guess we will see. I still think that Johnny Ace is working fior Vince and that Vince is the one behind this. Vince vs. Triple H...that is such a new and fresh idea!

I would see Vince being behind nWo-version 4,396. I figured it was being hinted at since Nash was coming out to the nWo theme music. Vince comes out, says he had Laurinaitis keeping tabs on HHH and trying to get him out of the COO position, he's proud of ADR and wants him as the face of the company, and hired Nash and Show to be the enforcers. They could even back track it somehow to make it seem like the ADR/Show car thing awhile back was a set up, blah blah blah. I've been wondering about some sort of ADR/Vince alliance, and a few weeks back I saw this on Wrestleview: "Vince McMahon is said to be a huge fan of both Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez. According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, when Del Rio is performing, McMahon can be spotted standing "watching and beaming." It could be a case of WWE making up stories to go along with storylines. Who knows.

I honestly don't like this idea at all. The parts just don't fit. I guess if you add a guy or two who really works...but I just don't see it. Nash is washed up. Everything said about him online over the years is that he's a bad influence politically, and you're going to build a Main Event stable around him? ADR could be in the group, with the belt, and it would still be about how 'cool' Nash is...or how much he's done for this business.
Honestly, I think the nWo coming back would be about the worst thing that could happen right now.
*edit* I still don't like the idea, but the more I think about it, its possible that they could be leading into an nWo rebirth. Could Nash's tweet about 'good getting to know Cena' a future hint at a Hogan like turn for Mr. Fruity Pebbles? Gives Rock/Cena a bit more a Rock/Hogan feel for Mania, doesn't it? Also, you have Cena and Punk fight side by side against the nWo and HHH, only to have Cena turn at a critical point. Shoots Punk into the babyface stratosphere if it works. It makes sense...just not sure if I'd enjoy it?

...and if HHH keeps his relationship to the nWo at arms length, when Cena turns, HHH can side with Punk, the two can 'get over' their present day feud, and you've got Punk, with help from HHH, and a part time Rock, going up against Cena, ADR, Nash in the background in his 'Godfather of nWo' role, and whoever else looks good in the t-shirt. I really hate that I'm thinking this right now.

I have thought that they could do this for quite some time. It would have to be done right but the nWo was my favorite angle of all time and it could definitely work again.
How about Joe Hennig? I am sure that alot of the younger guys could easily fit in a group like this.

I don't think they are going with yet another incarnation of the nWo. I don't understand why people want the nWo angle to be done. It was terrible the first time. It was only cool in the very beginning.
If WWE pulls out the nWo, that would be a huge slap in the face to most wrestling fans who are older than 21.
Wrestling should always be focused on going forward, not bringing back the past. I hate when I hear the glass break and Austin guzzling beers in 2011, I don't like Rock being back. This keeps other guys from progressing. Rock and Austin have had their time, let someone else get their chance to climb up the ladder. nWo reboot would just monopolize time that someone else could be using.
nWo was formed in 1996. 'Nuff said.

I don't understand why people want the nWo angle to be done. Nothing to try and understand. No one said they wanted to see the nWo angle be done. This thread isn't about yours or anyone else's personal opinion on if the WWE should reform the nWo, it's about whether that is the direction this angle is going. I don't want to see the nWo in 2011 either, but Nash came out to the nWo music and the angle revolves around "someone wants ADR to be champ". The topic isn't do you think they should reform the nWo, but are they based on these storyline facts. Forget the whole nWo name for a second as people seem focused on that. Will ADR, Nash and others like Big Show form a stable under Lauranitis? Maybe that would have been the better question.

the nWo was my favorite angle of all time and it could definitely work again. I understand the topic but I was referencing this comment. No, they will not reform the nWo or any version of it IMO. I do think that HHH and Laurenitas (?) wil have some power struggle and perhaps the "Board of Directors" will not all be behind HHH and that some of them do want ADR as champ. It would be sweet for Punk to have the KOW come out and back him at some point as the opposition to HHH, JL, and the Board.
