Though my budget is modest at best, everything is starting to come together. Little Universe Wrestling now has a home and an opening roster.

I’ve purchased the Proving Grounds Wrestling territory. PG is the perfect fit because it provides the start to my roster, an existing holo-vid contract, and a small arena for house shows.

It’s important to me that Little Universe Wrestling has something for everyone so I’ve contracted talent from each of the other territories to compete alongside the wrestlers I picked up with PG. We’ll open with 15 athletes.

I’ve stolen away Hardcore Commissioner Jim Steel from the Danger Zone to be my partner in running the show behind the scenes. Also, Manager Bot 4000 and Diva… of Doom will be afforded the opportunity to build their own stables from our starting pool of wrestlers.

The first Little Universe Wrestling show will be broadcast live from The Octagon House on 01.04.2126. I hope to see you there!

I've made arrangements for the Proving Ground tradition to continue. The first Proving Grounds Wrestling season of 2126 will be made available as a free, infonet only offering. The Clone Zone has recently recreated the athletes from an Old Earth federation called 3XW. These athletes will be fed into the Proving Grounds program, four at a time, over the course of 2126. Here's the initial 3XW class:

01.04.2126 The Octagon House, Asteroid Belt

Flash talks a good game before his match and promises a win.

NARCOTIK vs. FLASH----------
Narcotik is clearly under the influence. Flash wins by disqualification when Narcotik shoves the ref to the mat.

Manager Bot 4000 announces his new stable of wrestlers, Proven. Proven includes all of the previous Proving Ground athletes: Rottweiler Dan, Reen, Beer League, and Kevin Butcher.

KEVIN BUTCHER vs. AJAX----------
Kevin Butcher is accompanied to the ring by his manager, Manager Bot 4000.
Quick contest! Ajax wins by pin after a thrilling ATHENA’S BLADE. As he leaves the ring area, Ajax is heard muttering that he came to Little Universe Wrestling for a taste of the wild and dangerous, not Kevin Butcher.

Ace surprises Shiitake Jr. by challenging the Universe’s Most Deadly Mushroom to a Hitman Match. Shiitake gladly accepts.

HITMAN MATCH
SHIITAKE JR. vs. ACE----------
Ace climbs the pole and grabs the bag to win after a running spear. Ace grins confidently as he holds up the bag containing half his fee.

Before the match, Beer League taunts Blade Machismo to “step up to the plate.”

BEER LEAGUE vs. BLADE MACHISMO----------
Blade Machismo wins by submission via sleeper hold.

Diva… of Doom tries to engage Blade in a conversation as he walks back up the ramp. He ignores the fledgling manager, but she stays on his heels all the way to the back.

The Ultimate Fight Zone’s signature octagon is set up. The fans are chomping at the bit to experience the fast and bloody action that the UFZ is known for.

SCORPIO vs. CASTAWAY---------- [UFZ STIPULATION]
Castaway comes out to a huge pop from the crowd. Scorpio wins by pin following a sadistic SCORPIO STING. Some random in the front row launches a kendo stick into the octagon, and Scorpio proceeds to beat his defenseless foe with it. The audience roars their disapproval.
