I'm not going to defend Bruschi but I understand what he's trying to say. Ochicinco is barely hanging on to his job. Sources say he is way behind in learning the offense. If Chad wants to remain with New England, he might want to spend less time on Twitter and more time in the playbook.
Seems to me Ochocinco is more interested in being a celebrity than he is in being a football player.

If Chad wants to remain with New England, he might want to spend less time on Twitter and more time in the playbook. See, I agree. Which is why I say I see both sides. The Bengals aren't even on the same planet as the Pats. Chad has been playing for a bad team for so long where he is the focus, he's not used to anything else. In Cinci he was the man. In New England he's barely needed. That's gotta be a big shock to him. I heard a radio guy say he believes Bruschi has been getting inside info from other current Pats about their frustrations with 85. Maybe that helped set him off. I see both sides. I'm a put my head down and go to work guy myself, so I get it. I also think Chad tweeting that was innocent. With that said, I think regular use of Twitter, facebook etc...both makes and shows weakness in people. I've seen too much proof of that not to believe it. Esp athletes. The BEST thing 85 can do right now is shut all that stuff down and go to work.

I agree that Chad looks to be overwhelmed playing on the Pats who are a far superior team and organization then Cinncy, but he needs to stop his Celeb attitude and be a football player or join T.O. on USA's Necessary Roughness...
I agree the whole Twitter & Facebook Age is bad, but it is our Human Society ( the Human race has plenty of weaknesses, this is another to add to the list is all ) now that everyone seems to be doing it and it won't change but get worse. I honestly think if the NFL or any sports team wants to stop this issue make a ruling about not tweeting during the season, but then that can be an issue too...

I agree, Rob, that the one particular tweet probaby is just a minor deal. But knowing Ocho's obsession with tweeting, I'm thinking that one tweet itself was just being used as an example of where Chad's priorities seem to lie. We're talking about a guy who tweets during football games.
Once again, you can't spell Twitter without Twit.

I think the whole thing is a work... all the way through. All that ex-Pats are still very loyal... watching Harrison relish Tony Dungy squirming on TV is good proof of that. Remeber the Moss stuff last year? The Pats wanted him to go out there and be a decoy.. it worked, but his ego couldn't take it. Chad isn't the deep threat Moss is, but he DOES get attention.. that's his role. Friggin' Deion Branch had a million catches this week... why? He's getting ignored. Last week they let Welker alone, and got reminded that he can indeed get more than 5 yards a catch. Maybe next week it'll be Edelman. Or Woodhead. Or they'll stop paying attention to him and 85 will go off. All part of the plan. This is why Belichick is an evil genious
