I figure in the far flung future of the GWF men and women are on more even grounds than they might be otherwise(tell Sultana or Amazonia they couldn't hold their own against a man) so I've been simply letting women wrestle with the men with no stat mods. Thankfully the play by play simulator(which has become my sole source of GWF gaming) doesn't compensate for this either so its' worked well in my transition online. My problem was always that I liked female wrestlers but could only manage 1 or 2 female matches per card and I never really got too into the female storylines. Generally the women compete for the womens title or the IP title(as I tend to go in phases with the inter gender aspect of the fed). They can also go for the tag titles if they want(Kill Prey and Shann-Ra make up the Thrill of the Chase tag team). It's worked well for me, I've had some enjoyable storylines thanks to it. I was just curious if anyone else has done this? And if so how did till work out for you, well or not so well? Just curious.

I had Amazonia wrestle men (but with modifications), and she and Wolf held the tag belts briefly, but that's the only time I made that sort of attempt.
Personally, my women's division is historically one of the top divisions as far as parity of competition. Latasha and Phantasy had some great battles, as have Shann-Ra and Thrash. So I guess I never felt the need to mix too much. If I did, though, I still would use the modifications. I don't know that women of 140 lbs. or so would be physically able to handle more muscular men who are twice their size. Not saying it to be sexist, just saying it as a kinesiological fact. (Vocabulary word of the day there!)

I dunno, I guess in a universe filled with zombies, cyborgs, mutants and aliens I'm not going to get hung up on things like that. That's groovy about Wolf and Amazonia though. Sadly back when I was playing those years it didn't occur to me to mix it up like that. The only real thing that niggles my brain is that I know the women are created with the modifications already in mind, primarily in the strength department. I know that Sultana's strength of 4 isn't meant to be the same as Paralyze's strength or what have you. Still, I generally only have a few women wrestler actively against men at a time so I don't think it over balances anything and I have fun with it.

I only did it for special matches like mixed tag team, except I did have Nightmare Nikki face American Male before (Nikki won).

Well of course she would. I don't use them.....even when Amazonia was technically teaming up with a guy in regular competition, I pretty much ignored it as I've never felt comfortalbe with mixing the genders too much.

I'm hoping and praying that Promoter Madness makes it online as Nightmare Nikki is one of my all time favorite characters and would love to be able to use her with my online fed. I'd love for her to be introduced into regular GWF continuity with the return of...COUNT NECROS! Another of my old time faves.

Well that's a hope I most certainly have. (With or without Necros) I know Mark has thought about using her and maybe just maybe Tom will find a slot for her.

I never did it in the past, but since I started working on the indy circuit I find women wrestling men all the time. In FTW, the show I work for locally, we have one female who wrestles the guys. And she holds her own. Now, most of our guys are Junior Heavyweight, but that is the case on the indy circuit today. Now Mary, she can go toe to toe with our few heavys as well, he soccer kick is deadly. So when I start my new league, I plan to have the women face the men.

Well remember, wrestling nowadays is booked and choreographed. Now if you're still having it "booked", then it works...if you don't, realism starts to make you wonder.
