I wasn't sure if this is the right thread to post this or not, so if it is wrong, I'm sorry. Here is my question and I'm sure it will sound strange, but I am looking for a real life wrestler who may have used the "hulk" gimmick. Now, obviously I know about Hulk Hogan, but I'm talking about a lesser known wrestler. I'm starting a new belt in my fed and it is going to be kind of like a "wrestlecrap" belt. It will have people like Arachnaman, Giant Gonzalez, Doink The Clown, etc. I'm not really looking for an exact copy of the hulk (no green paint or whatever), but I am looking for somebody like Arachnaman. An obvious copy, but not exactly the same. I would prefer an indy wrestler or someone who is not a well-known legend.
Thanks for any help!!
PS Any suggestions for my wrestlecrap belt? So far I am thinking about having Arachnaman, Giant Gonzalez, Papa Shango, Doink The Clown and the Renegade.

The closest that I know of was Romero Contreras of Compound Pro Wrestling out of Tulsa painted himself green and basically did the Hulk gimmick one night recently...his tag team partner was in a Spider-Man singlet, complete with mask.

How about wrestlers that "hulked up?" I know that there have been many over the years (ie; Hogan, Warrior, Sting etc). Has there ever been a little bit lesser known wrestler that has done the overblown hulk up? I know that Ken Shamrock used to "snap," has there been anybody like that who would remind people of the hulk?

Well Eugene did, but he was just imitating Hogan. I actually saw Eugene recently in a indy show and he's so super entertaining in the ring.

when I was little and I watched wrestling with my grandfather, our favorite wrestler was Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant and he used to take a beating the whole match until he "hulked up" just like Hogan, and this was in 1980 or 81 before Hulkamania took off!

Hulking up existed before Hogan. Lawler did it for years in Memphis as well.

Last thing I'll ask about this, I promise. Has there ever been anybody with a "split-personality" gimmick? Especially where one of the personalities is out of control or anything like that?
Thanks again!!
PS People like Boogie Woogie Man are to famous. I'm looking for a little bit lesser known wrestler. It doesn't have to be someone who nobody has ever heard of, but not a real legend either.
I guess Arachnamn would still be the best example of what I am looking for. He was obviously a Spider-Man rip-off, and everybody knew that it was Brad Armstrong. However, you weren't "supposed" to know that it was Brad Armstrong.

Besides Foley (who'sprobably too famous) no one I can think of really played a split personality gimmick.

Black Reign, aka Dustin Rhodes has a split personality gimmick right now. I'm sure it has been done a few times, just no others I recall currently.
