I thought lastnights episode was great with it only spotlighting on Daryl and Beth, it was very cool seeing these characters grow through the episode...

Season 5 premiere pulled in a 17.3 million, what a start to this season and it was a thriller. I like how they told the story of Terminus and our gang, plus a few nice twists with the Hippy Sam reappearing from the episode Indifference in the early scenes where the Cattle were getting their throats cut. I also loved how bad ass Carol was in this episode and the same for Rick, plus the scene directly after the Preview for next week was kick ass cool stuff...

This season's premier was off the hook. I was going in fully expecting a "Terminus" season this year. Glad to see the entire gang on the road for the first time for the next since the series started.

Conan O'Brien on Talking Dead like you thought this season would be all about Terminus and I thought the same as well, but it's cool they are on the road. I geeked out seeing Morgan (Lennie James) after the preview for next week ended and I'm wondering who left the "X's" on the trees. I also wonder was that Negan at Terminus in the flashback scenes who was picking out the women to rape. The Walking Dead continues to be a stellar show, that's for sure...

One of the best episodes ever, just for the fact I will never be able to watch a baseball game the same way again! Also, a welcome departure from the usual premier / return episodes, which tend to be rather slow.
This one really "knocked it out of the park"!
(Pun fully intended!)

Yeah I think I most people were expecting a "Terminus" season. My co-working is fully convinced it was Negan in the final "Terminus Flashback." Having Morgan comeback as well was awesome, hopefully with "Low Winter Sun" cancelled Morgan has a bigger part in the show. I honestly can't wait for this coming Sunday's episode. Worst thing about watching this show on a week to week basis.

Robert Kirkman has said that that was not Negan in the end. I thought the same thing but apparently it was the guy they let out of the shipping container with the tattoos on his face. Word is Negan will appear this season though.

Word is Negan will appear this season though. On the Talking Dead, Chris Hardwick mentioned that long haired guy was at the start of the show, but I wasn't really sure. So I went back and he must have been in their for awhile...

Such an incredible episode!! And like everyone else; I was assuming that Terminus would go until at least the mid season. A pleasant surprise that it did not.
Now my theory about the x on the tree. I believe the marry band of marauders that turned the people of Terminus into non trusting, cannibals; are the ones that left the x as a way of keeping track of the places they have already been. I also believe that Morgan encountered them before and he is tracking them.
I do know one thing though. If only Shane could see Rick now. Rick has definitely taken a complete 180 since season 2. Wanting to go into a walker invested, what was left of Terminus because nobody gets to survive. DAMN!!

On the Terminus story, I think Gareth is still alive and was only wounded and we'll see him again...
