It's been a good season and tonight the mid-season finale airs, so I read from TV Guide about Norman Reedus getting prepared for a scene for this episode. I'm guessing we will see the death of either or both of Beth & Carol...

I hope not too, but I think we are going to see the shock value come into play with this episode to end the mid-season...

I wasn't that surprised with the ending, it was a good episode. I really liked the mini-addition with Morgan after the credits and I'm wondering about his story...

Solid episode but I hated losing Beth! She is one of my favorites on the show and was not happy with what happened to her. Also I agree the stuff with Morgan should be interesting, I wonder when he will cross paths with Rick again?

Lennie James is a top actor and I'm glad he has a role in TWD, so it'll be fun to see if this role will put him in more of the full episodes and not these teasers. I know there was talks of a companion series of TWD, so it would be cool if James character would lead to that, but I'm not sure on that either...

I just have to ask why? Well, money of course, but what could possibly be different enough to warrant another show? If they aren't careful, they will burn people out with too much of a good thing.

Why a companion series? Obviously money. Strike while the iron is hot. From a fans standpoint, there is so much that has yet to be explored. Whether it be with the original or the companion series. The origin of this "disease", if you can call it that? What happens to another group of survivors? How do they cope with whats going on? How will their morals change in the face of this? I would personally like to see what happens in a huge city like LA, or Chicago, or NY. The military bases were compromised. How did it happen? I don't feel that the product will be oversaturated with another show. Of course that depends on how it is presented.

I would argue that the point of The Walking Dead is not how it happened but what comes after. I also think we've seen quite a few examples of other groups of survivors and how they dealt with things. A lot as a matter of fact. Big city? The Atlanta area has a population of over 5 million. In the US top ten. I see another series as just a money-suck and most likely redundant.
