I actually seen a box set at Best Buy of Season I of this show. Complete series of Season 1. I don't have AMC, so I have never seen this show? Looked to be a cool show, but seems to remind me an awful lot of Resident Evil movie storyline? True? I was just curious.

The tone of the show is not as outrageous as RE where you have Super-Powered Zombies or Persons. This series is more like George Romeros Night of the Living Dead dealing with it's set in a more traditional real life setting. In my view The Walking Dead is far superior then RE when it comes to Storytelling and even the action is really good. Before the TV Series in 2003 the Comic Book debuted and still runs today, but I never read the Comic Book...

Season Two continues to deliver on the Best storytelling on TV with this latest episode. I am now more interested in seeing what happens next Sunday. I really like the end of the Bar scene with Rick, but from start to finish "Nebraska" was very entertaining. Next week looks even better from the previews and I do have to say seeing Lori's car flipping from previews leading up to tonights episode I thought to myself when she got into the car it's her who crashes and will she lose the baby...

I tried really hard to watch last night and could not get into it. I wouldn't call it a bad show and I really thought the scenes with some of the zombies looked great but I grew bored with the scenes minus zombies, and didn't feel like it was much different from the other 1000 zombie movies/shows I've seen before. I was hoping this show would fill the gap missing from SONS, but I ended up switching away from a commercial and forgetting about it.

I know a few people who only jumped in watching one episode and said the samething and I told them they need to watch Season 1 and the First Half of Season 2 to get the full experience. Then it's not everyone's cup of tea and for me thats like SONS which I tried watching back when it first debuted but I only got through 4 episodes before I got bored. I never could sit through a full season of FX programs, they just bored me. Anyway, the Great thing about the Walking Dead is it's not just about the Zombies and it's abour surviving with People who are alive too. I can't wait to see what happens with the Girl who is now with fever, did she get scratched or is the Zombie virus airborn...

Yeah, I would say Walking Dead is much more about the people trying to survive the zombie infestation than any other zombie movie out there. There are plenty of episodes where 1 zombie dies in the entire episode whereas in a 2 hour movie you would have much, much more than that.
I would highly recommend watching the show from the beginning. Anybody that I know who went back and watched from the beginning loves it now.

Watching from the very start is the Key to enjoying this series and I know a few people who went back and now love this series. I usually watch each episode 2 or 3 times to really catch every detail. I also like the Talking Dead talk show on at 12am est...

I love Talking Dead as well. I always end up laughing. I love the "In Memoriam" segment and I really liked the one they did for the Squirrel, Funny Stuff. Steven Yeun aka Glenn is on this Sunday's Talking Dead episode...

This one, for me, started out kind of flat. I think it's because, usually you come out guns blazing with a series starter or even mid season starter and it didn't happen here. It was more of a launching point. Not a bad thing obviously but 2 months of anticipation is an awful long damn time.
That being said, the dynamic between the charcters is continuing to evolve in a huge way.
The two newbies didn't last long. If you're going to turn heel, you got to do the slow build. Epic fail for those guys. Did they not hear Rick when he said he was a cop. Man, homie was fast when he had to be. I think that may have earned a few more points with Hershal.
I don't think Laurie loses the baby but it will be interesting to see what happens. Obviously Rick is going to look for her. But after the Sophia thing; will anybody else? Will Darryl? Will Carol? Will Shane?
For those that do not have cable like I have come to not have. You can see Season 1 on Netflix but I just bought season 2 from Amazon for $2.00 an episode. The next show is available the next day after it airs.
