Here is a list of instructions and tips for when rolling out a match in WRESTLER CARD view on the COTGonline GAME TABLE.
These instructions/tips can also be found in the WRESTLER CARD view by clicking "EXTRAS" button (and then "Game Table.")
WRESTLER CARD
The row of buttons across the top affects what's on display in the center area of the Wrestler Card: the card stats, the card art, the basic charts, and the rules (which include special match rules and general rules of COTG/LOW game play).
Game Table tip: Notice that only the Choice Chart buttons that appear on a wrestlers card are displayed. You'll use those buttons during the match to make your Choice Chart selections.
The buttons along the side allow you to roll on one of the three levels of Offense or Defense.
Game Table tip: Use the buttons at the top of each side column to roll either one die or two dice during the match.
The blue buttons on the left of the card bottom allow you to display your wrestler's Power or Agility to your opponent.
Game Table tip: It is common courtesy to display your wrestler's Power or Agility whenever your opponent displays theirs.
The blue buttons on the right of the card bottom let you either roll for a disqualification for your wrestler or announce your intent to tag to your opponent.
Game Table tip: Clicking the tag button tells your opponent that you'll be going for a tag. If on offense, simply tag out by rolling the appropriate offense level on your partner's card. If on defense, roll two dice to see if the tag is successful. (6 or less for official tag teams, 4 or less for any other team).
The red buttons on the bottom of the card roll for your PIN or Cage ratings to see if a match ends.
Game Table tip: If you roll PIN or the opponent hits you with their finishing move, click the PIN button. It will initiate the roll of two dice and also add in any fatigue tokens collected during the match.
The gold buttons on the bottom of the card track your wrestler's fatigue.
Game Table tip: Notice that the number of fatigue tokens collected is always on display in the chat log next to a wrestler's name [in brackets].
The black buttons across the bottom of the card let you roll on the four most common charts (Into the Ropes, Into the Turnbuckle, Out of the Ring, and Deathjump) for your wrestler.
CHAT LOG
The chat log is on the right-hand side of the Wrestler Card, showing you a list of the most recent events as well as a space to type in your own chat or notes.
Game Table tip: You can not scroll up on the chat log, but at any time you can click Show Log to get results that have scrolled off the Wrestler Card screen.
The Show Log button opens a new window with a full, scrollable chat log in it. This chat log does not update automatically, however, so you must refresh the page to make it update as more information comes in.
The other buttons beneath the chat bar allow you to quick-chat to tell your opponent that you'll go, to tell your opponent to go, or to perform a random taunt.
Game Table tip: The You Go! and I'll Go! buttons are very useful tools to communicate quickly with your opponent during a match. Use them when a (c) situation occurs. Also, be sure to Taunt your opponent when the time is right!
If you are the owner of the Game Table, you have the ability to clear the log, as well. Because this is not reversable, you must first click to show the Clear Log button before actually clicking it to clear it.
Game Table tip: Your Game Table's chat log is collects and displays info from play to play. If you leave it full of information, it will be full when you return.
These instructions/tips can also be found in the WRESTLER CARD view by clicking "EXTRAS" button (and then "Game Table.")
