The big news: The Bills and Lions are 3-0
WK 3 BIG WINNERS -
Buffalo Bills - The Bills are for real. And give them credit for sticking to their guns with Ryan Fitzpatrick when all the "experts" ripped them for passing on QB's the last two drafts. Fitzpatrick is the clear leader of this team.
Detroit Lions - First win in MN since 1997 and they do it after being down 0-20 at halftime. Biggest W for the Lions in 20 years.
Oakland Raiders - The often hated Raiders kick the even more hated Fatso Rex and his creepy foot-fetish in the teeth. Darren McFadden is a total freak.
Cleveland Browns - They haven't been pretty, the Browns have won 2 in a row after that debacle vs. the Bengals in week 1. 2-1 is 2-1.
Torrey Smith - Dude makes NFL history and it will probably never been seen again. First 3 NFL catches = 3 TD's. Wow.
Bonus winners - Fans of all 31 other teams outside of Philly: Anytime dog killer Mike gets his overrated ass handed to him, it's a good day for everyone who doesn't cheer for this prick aka everyone but bandwagon jumping, miserable Eagles fans.
WK 3 BIGGEST LOSERS -
Philadelphia Eagles - Dog Killer Mike hurts his head (again), breaks his hand and the Eagles are 1-2.
St. Louis Rams - Some teams are officially in the Andrew Luck race. The Rams are officially in the Justin Blackmon race. Josh McDaniels is not the offensive genius he thinks he is. Greg Salas and Austin Pettis are not the answer. This isn't new England where you can plug in late round draft picks and watch Tom Brady blow it up. Sam Bradford needs a legit franchise WR and Blackmon is the best WR to come out since Megatron. They missed out on Julio Jones last year. They can't let it happen again with Blackmon next April.
Chicago Bears - All of a sudden the Bears are 1-2 and their week 1 "upset" over the Atlanta Falcons isn't looking like much of an upset any longer.
Atlanta Falcons - Can it be? The Falcons are the 3rd (or 4th!?) best team in the NFC South? Those 1st round draft picks they traded away are looking pretty valuable right about now.
Arizona Cardinals - Looking very average with Kolb at the Helm. A loss to the anemic Seahawks once again makes the NFC West totally up for grabs with no clear cut favorite for the second year in a row.
Predictions for tonight and MNF:
- Steelers mug Colts and win by 30
- Redskins pull out a last minute W over Dallas to join Green Bay, Buffalo and Detroit in the unbeaten club.
