Think about this for a second. Last week we saw Air Boom vs. Dolph and Swagger in a tag team match...yadda, yadda, yadda, match ends in a DQ.
FACE GM Teddy Long comes out and screws the HEELS by booking them in a re-match where they are given the 3 minutes to find a new partner or be FORCED to wrestle in a 2 on 3 HANDICAPPED MATCH .
Handicapped match begins and the honorable, fair, and courageous antagonistic FACES happily accept these honorable, fair, and just nefarious stipulations.
Mid-way through the match Vickie finally shows back up with Mason Ryan! Now we're getting somewhere! Oh, wait...what? Mason Ryan, FOR NO REASON AT ALL, turns on the HEELS. He did a freaking heel turn, on the heels.
Here's a guy who (in the storyline) was apparently dumped by CM Punk when Punk got large, and not used, or seen since. Vickie Guerrero comes to the rescue, pulling him out of the abyss that is the RAW undercard locker room, brings him back to live TV where he's finally back in the spotlight, and he rewards her by betraying her (a value every good face should have) for no damn reason at all. Not to mention this guy has been a heel since the day he showed up in the WWE.
And he's the face?

Honestly the WWE has made no SLHENCE! of late with it's product and you can look at the creative team at work to blame. The WWE hires ex-soap opera writers to write for them and they also are a cheaper paid employees. I guess Faces are Heels & Heels are Faces, it's a jumbled mess in the WWE...

That's nothing... you know what REALLY makes no sense? Daniel Bryan on Superstars.
Way to push the guy who says he's going to main event Wrestlemania... It's only a matter of time they take MiTB from him, I think.

It's only a matter of time they take MiTB from him, I think. I've had that feeling since about the time Summer Slam was happening. WWE tried some bold things around Money in the Bank and got some real buzz going. Unfortunately they didnt see any immediate swings in TV numbers they hoped for and seemed to hit the reset button at Summerslam. The buzz dropped and so has interest. Its unfortunate thats the case, because before the days of it being a public company and needing immediate returns they could let things go longer and gradually pick up steam and grow an audience. That was the case with the attitude era, and could have been the case here. Really sad.

totally get this. I like a swerve as much as anyone, but Ryan turning on his team upon his return makes no sense. I could see it after a major feud is winding down and they're looking for something new to start, but this rivalry is just getting warmed up. Ryan hasn't done anything for a long time, comes in and starts something on his own? And if he was a face in the beginning, then turn heel, it would make sense? But this is an odd set of circumstances, unless they got something huge in a storyline of why he did this? I have no idea what WWE is thinking right now?
And yeah, with Daniel Bryan getting kicked around, really makes me wonder what will happen with the MITB briefcase?! Unless they're trying to make him appear as the ultimate underdog with little or no chance of EVER winning the World Title, and then at WrestleMania, and then winning it! Even if that is the case, I just don't see the WWE keeping him as champion for a real length of time, which is unfortunate.

You expect wrestling to make sense? Never at any time in any fed has everything ever made sense.

There are a lot of things in wrestling that don't make sense, but I am ok with some of the things mentioned. Dolph Ziggler did in fact insult Mason Ryan on TV the week prior. It's also not the first time that a returning heel turned face upon his return.
Nor is this the first time that a face authority figure made heels who had been cheating and interfering in matches for an extended period of time "fight fair". It's a pretty tried and true tactic. It happened to the horsemen and freebirds ALL THE TIME.
Also, there is a long, long time until Wrestlemania. It takes about three weeks to build someone back up. Daniel Bryan could be fine. It's not like when Punk won it, he was immediately thrown into the spot light. He kept on going about .500 in midcard matches and having meaningless tag team matches with Kofi Kingston until he won the title.
