I just popped through LordsofPain and such.. .apparently 'who lowered the cage' is going to be a 'mystery'.... like who shut off Punk's mic a few weeks back, which hasn't been mentioned again.
Perhaps they'll tie everything up in a neat bow (maybe even the Raw GM) tonight, or soon. That'd be something, anyway.

All that accomplished is burying Punk... he was an afterthought. I think the word "bury" is way over-used by wrestling fans but I understand your point. I do however agree he was an afterthought once Miz and Truth hit the ring. As much as I enjoyed the ending to HIAC, I cannot help but feel like Vince/HHH took the outsider gimmick Punk created for himself and gave it to Miz and Truth. Just imagine how we'd all be reacting if it was Punk who did the run in last night and not Miz/Truth. Imagine if they had kept Punk off the roster (in the story) all summer like so many of us wanted, then finally brought him back last night giving Punk that spot? Seems to me like they could have easily gone in that direction following MITB.

ADR winning was kinda silly... why take it off him to get it back 2 weeks later? All that accomplished is burying Punk... he was an afterthought. I'm betting we'll get Cena- ADR at Vengeance, and Punk will end up in some mid-level feud. I'll take one shot at this... I can't defend taking the belt off ADR...but since they did... Cena doesn't need to belt to be main event. Additionally, he can't have the belt during WM. Punk is the freshest thing that the WWE has going (even with the stupid storylines). He doesn't need the belt. He will not slide to midlevel. He will stay main event. If ADR had not won the belt...ADR is still midlevel. He has not become a main event staple as of yet. No choice...ADR had to win the belt by hook or crook or he slides down the card.

To add to what Graymar said, I think Mark Henry had a lot to do with ADR losing to Cena last PPV. Aside from last night, I can't remember last time a WWE PPV ended without a face winning.
Henry won the World Title on the same show Cena regained the belt. That could honestly be the only reason. WWE simply didn't want to end the last PPV with Henry or ADR winning.

ADR winning was kinda silly... why take it off him to get it back 2 weeks later? To me, it makes sense. The Title has been in a disarray for the last couple of months (since MitB). This lead to the big (first time ever) Triple Threat Hell in a Cell Match. I believe, both Cena and HHH spoke to that effect leading into this ppv and why this match was "important". To try to establish the "Champion", so to speak. I don't know, it just makes sense to me. But, yes....Cena vs. ADR at Vengeance, where Cena wins it (most likely) is not something I am happy about. But what about Punk? Where does he go?

I was not saying it was a "good idea", just that I understood the purpose of the Triple Threat Match in the Hell in the Cell to try to bring "stability" to the title. Thing is, with Cena not as champion, I don't think there will be stability, because I feel that whoever is champion is only going to feed Cena another title reign.

I never saw Alberto winning back the title . But why didn't Cena try to get in via the roof . Some of it gives way , from past HIAC matches . He just stood there , from someone who never quits ?
2 x Sin Cara was poor . Did anyone care who won ?
Otunga - His awful . I keep saying it , his only in it because of who his wife/girlfriend (depending what you read) is ? . His new look reminds me of Pee Wee Herman ?
Cody wrestling not in gear . Was stupid ?
Miz & R-Truth is setting up Miz v HHH feud ?
