For those of you who have already started playing with your Legends of the Future cards, how is Larry Sweeney doing for you?
In my LOTF fed Minor League Wrestling (which is the developmental brand for my main LOW fed Major League Wrestling), Sweeney is off to a really good start. So far he's survived the first two rounds of the tournament to determine my first Minor League Wrestling Champion. In the First Round, Sweeney defeated Claudio Castagnoli. And then in the Second Round/Quarter-Finals Sweeney survived HELL'S FLAMES to make a comeback and defeat Sam Hayne via his finisher 12 LARGE ELBOW DROP.
Now Sweeney is off to the Semi-Finals to wrestle against Adam Pearce.

I'll let you know once I get my cards Mr. Vegas. I am thinking Larry won't wrestle that much for me at the beginning as I want him to run Sweet N' Sour Inc. And being that elusive pain in the butt Manager for his stable. If the dice work in my favour I want Larry to be hated so much that when he finally gets into the ring the fans will love to see him take a beating.
And personally I hope he holds his own in there.

Well it turns out that Sweeney didn't make it past the Quarter-Finals as he lost to Adam Pearce- but he nearly won that match too as Pearce had to survive two pin attempts from Sweeney. But so far, Sweeney has been pretty successful in my fed.

If the dice work in my favour I want Larry to be hated so much that when he finally gets into the ring the fans will love to see him take a beating. And personally I hope he holds his own in there. Yeah, I'm also planning on mostly using Sweeney as a manager and I almost didn't even put Sweeney in the tournament. But I needed one more card to have my 16 man tournament and I didn't want to use a tag team wrestler. I also almost brought in some other LOW card such as Sabu early, but I was interested in seeing how the LOW Indy cards would first do against each other in the tournament. |

Better to have them take on one another first than toss the poor buggers against the likes of Harley Race right out of the gate for sure! I think however that Larry could hold his own in some feds it all comes down to the dice! |
