The first official Filsinger Games Online Tournament is in the books! We only had two no-shows, but Traviz picked up the slack of one of them. We also had one forfeit due to a browser problem (later fixed by a switch to Firefox), so Steen only had to wrestle twice. Here are the results ...
Round One Monolith (Rob) over Jimmy Snuka (Neily) Encubus (Mark T) over Thantos (Sideshow), Endgame (Troy) over Paralyze (Cman) Destructon 3000 (jasonjaconetti) over Clinch (Avarice) Aethran Overmaster (Justin Case) over Kevin Steen (BDS) Bloodline (Biggin) over Iron Hand (Dharneth) The Guardian (Eliath) over Kevin Steen (BDS) Totalis (Traviz) over Andre the Giant (BVander44)
Round Two Encubus (Mark T) over Monolith (Rob) Endgame (Troy) over Destructon 3000 (jasonjaconetti) Aethran Overmaster (Justin Case) over Bloodline (Biggin) The Guardian (Eliath) over Totalis (Traviz)
Semifinals Endgame (Troy) over Encubus (Mark T) The Guardian (Eliath) over Aethran Overmaster (Justin Case)
Championship Match In an absolutely brutal beatdown, The Guardian - already tired from a few big hits from the Overmaster - destroyed Endgame to become the first ever Filsinger Games Online Tournament champion!
Congratulations to Eliath on winning the tournament! A shinier version of The Guardian to be used in COTGonline will be in Eliath's hands shortly, and he's won his way into the Grand Tournament to be held in October of next year.
Thanks to everyone who participated and made it such an amazing time! Can't wait to do it again!

Congrats to Eliath. Guardian is tough! I gotta ask, what was Traviz thinking using Totalis?

Congrats to Eliath. Guardian is tough! I gotta ask, what was Traviz thinking using Totalis? I was thinking that Endgame was taken. I did beat Andre, doesn't that count for something?

Congratulations to Eliath!
This was a great event, and I was thrilled to get to participate! I think that it was a good move to run the rounds simultaneously in different rooms; I hope that wasn't the cause of the lag, though. As someone who has run a variety of tournaments for different games in the past, I was happy that a full summary of what to expect at the tournament was posted up front. Thanks to BDS and anyone else involved for their efforts!

It was fun to play in the tourny and hang out (at least virtually) with you guys. The success of last night will hopefully lead to more interactive, cool stuff

Overmaster knocked The Guardian around, but it wasn't enough to stop him! The Guardian should be called "The Destroyer" because he just tore through the competition! Congrats Eliath, well played dropping Havoc and picking up the Guardian!!!

Thanks everyone for the congratulations; The Guardian really did all the work - I was just the strategist. Thanks for a great tournament; looking forward to my "FOIL" Guardian card!!
