Recently my dad had cleaned out his storage which means he delivered my 13 paper boxes(each with about 8 shoeboxes) of sports cards.

I decided as I was sorting through the mess that I would start sending out letters through the mail and seeing if I could get anything back. Below will be my list of successes to date in reverse order:

I've been following this thread since the beginning, I'm just horrible about posting sometimes. I am fascinated, surprised, and somewhat encouraged that athletes still take the time to respond to fan mail. I know the older and retired athletes were decent about that, but it's kind of good to know some of the current players understand that fan relations is an important part of their job and the reason they're able to continue to play a sport for a living.

Anyone who cares should look at that post with the pics of the cards. Hulk Hogan was really cool in that he signed the different cards in colors appropriate to the card in question. Signing the "Hulk Rules" logo card in red was an especially nice touch.

Thanks MT. The Hogan signatures are awesome, I really loved the different colors too! Also, the Stew aka Stu aka Stewart Cliburn's, he wrote his name according to the card. My favorite though was John "the Mule" Miles, the old negro league player who sent a letter with it talking about his playing days. I'll still be posting, check back anytime!
