Embattled owner Frank McCourt has finally relented and agreed to sell the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers and Major League Baseball released a joint statement Tuesday night announcing the sale.

The franchise and its media rights will be sold in a court-supervised process and the Blackstone Group LP will manage the sale.
