I either attended or have the DVD (in many cases both) for every PWG show listed in the years 2008 (well starting with Life During Wartime,) 2009, 2010, and 2011.

For those years, 2008-2011, I consider the best shows: Express Written Consent, Threemendous II, Speed of Sound, Guerre Sans Frontières, 2009 Battle of Los Angeles (especially Night Two,) As The Worm Turns, DDT4 (2010,) Seven, Kurt Russellreunion 2: The Reunioning, DDT4 (2011,) Eight, and the 2011 Battle of Los Angeles. The first Kurt Russellreunion (aka Kurt Russellmania) also would have made my list except it is not included in this sale (it is listed as out of stock on PWG's website)


For the third straight year, I am definitely going to add to my PWG DVD collection through this annual PWG sale at $8/DVD which even includes their newest titles.

1) Astonishing X-Mas

I have wanted to get this DVD for awhile, but it has always been listed as out of stock on PWG's website and I never see it at the PWG merchandise table either (at least when I remember to look for it.) But now it is listed as part of this sale.

Matches include Kevin Steen vs Super Dragon in a guerrilla warfare match, Davey Richards vs Samoa Joe, Joey Ryan defending the PWG World Championship against Chris Kanyon, 2 Skinny Black Guys (El Generico & Human Tornado) vs. Jack Evans & Roderick Strong, Colt Cabana vs. Scorpio Sky, Scott Lost vs Alex Shelley, and more.

2) Enchantment Under the Sea

Matches include: Super Dragon and Davey Richards defending the PWG World Tag Team Championship against Arrogance (Scott Lost and Chris Bosh,) Bryan Danielson vs Claudio Castagnoli, the Briscoes vs Cape Fear (El Generico & Quicksilver,) Joey Ryan defending the PWG World Championship against Chris Sabin, Austin Aries vs Kevin Steen, an opening match that includes Alex Koslov, and more.


3)-5) the 3 2011 PWG DVDs I don't already own
One of these 3 includes the most recent PWG DVD The Perils of Rock N Roll Decadence which I meant to buy last month at Steen Wolf but I forgot to look for it at the PWG merchandise table- yet that is probably good as I am now only paying $8 for it.

I normally don't order PWG DVDs through the mail as I usually buy my PWG DVDs at PWG shows. But the shipping cost for all 5 of these DVDs was only $5 total and that seems alot cheaper than the shipping costs ROH charges as I recently also made some online ROH purchases with my Ringside membership.
