I like the fact the Dragon took a beating and kept on coming. A one on one match with Corino would be great. Nice win for the Vachons. Great build to Kowalski - Bockwinkel. Let's hope they can deliver in the ring. Thanks, Bill. I'll have #3 up tomorrow!

Card #2 was another good batch of matches and I agree the build between Kowalski & Bockwinkel was great and it's great to see The Vachons win the Tag Gold...

Saturday Night Slam - #3 - Austin, TX
Women's Championship Battle Royal 1. Krissy Vaine b Sherri Martel. Krissy Vaine of Team Blondage managed to be the last lady in the ring out of twelve. In the end, she tossed Sherri Martel over the ropes, of course with the help of an already eliminated Amber O'Neal. Krissy Vaine became the first WCWF Women's Champion!
Television Championship Battle Royal 2. Jimmy Snuka b Greg Valentine. Snuka lasted through five men, two of them being Ox Baker and King Kong Bundy. In the end, "Superfly" moved out of the way of a charging Greg Valentine; the "Hammer" flew over the ropes and into the guardrail. Jimmy Snuka became the first WCWF Television Champion!
United States Tournament 3. Harley Race b Bobo Brazil. Both fan-favorites shook hands before their wild brawl, but frustration eventually built up as fists began to fly! After trading multiple blows in the ring, Race caught Brazil with a stalling vertical suplex that took everything out of him. Race went for the cover but only got two. Brazil got back up and fell back down, head first, as Race hit the PILEDRIVER for the 1-2-3!
United States Tournament 4. Buddy Rogers b Killer Kowalski. This was an aggressive back-and-forth match with Rogers gaining the edge toward the end. The "Nature Boy" picked up the submission victory eventually, but it took him applying the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE three times.
United States Championship 5. Buddy Rogers b Harley Race. This has been coined "the match that would not end." Rogers used every dirty tactic in the book; however, Race always rebounded outside the ring. In the end, as both men wore crimson masks, Rogers caught Race with an atomic drop that sent him to his knees; Rogers grabbed the legs and flipped Race to apply the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE for the submission. Buddy Rogers became the first WCWF United States Champion!

Some really big names in the U.S. tournament. Krissy Vaine will be needing Amber O'Neal's help to hold on to that world title.

I think it'll be a tough road for any contender for the US Strap, but Buddy Rogers can lose and it'll be interesting to see who knocks him off as the US Champ...

I don't know about how tough Rogers will be. Jim Duggan just beat him at my last LCW card. Anything can happen.
Great action on Card #3. I like the Superfly outlasting the Hammer to win the TV strap. I saw them battle back in the day at the very first WWF television taping (Snuka was sub for an injured Andre The Giant) in Brantford. That night Snuka earned a hard fought DQ win.
Kowalski drops his match to the Nature Boy. Is he still going to face Bockwinkel?
How many competitors are you going to have on your roster?

Killer was in the US tournament because he was a finalist for the World strap. He and Bockwinkel are still happening. That's the feud I want at the top right now. KK has always been a miss for me, and I want him to be a top heel for once (hopefully with a World title win). Rogers, having the US strap, stays away from Bockwinkel. Rogers is a tough guy to beat and I don't want him rising above KK.
