Dean Malenko- would probably be the most technically proficient card in Legends history, Trav Lance Storm & Shane Douglas (with Francine,of course)-Throw in Candido & you've got the Triple Threat) Malenko is under contract...he's a road agent (for Smackdown, I believe)...Storm and Douglas are TREMENDOUS ideas, though...seriously, Lance Storm's pretty active on the web, too, at www.stormwrestling.comRaven is another guy that would be an amazing signing, accessible on the web, and currently unattached to any fed. Foley...not sure what his contract status is.

Sorry if I'm too late for the highjacking, but I gotta chime in: 1.Please do not EVER use the words "Goldberg" & "Legend" in the same post EVER again! Goldberg was a hack football player who was in the right place at the right time (& had the right look-Austin's) whose lasting impression on wrestling as far as I'm concerned is ending the career of the greatest wrestler ever, Bret Hart, because of his lack of knowledge in the ring. Sorry, but I had to say it. 2.Trish would be a welcome addition to the game, IMHO 3.As for other "modern" wrestlers I'd like to see added, or more importantly, that might be available to be added: Chyna-A great idea from Pride & I'm sure she's available too X-Pac- I know Jakks produces figures for both 1-2-3 Kid & X Pac, but does that automatically exclude Sean Waltman? Plus, as long as nobody introduces a video camera to their storyline with him & Chyna, we should be safe Dean Malenko- would probably be the most technically proficient card in Legends history, Trav Balls Mahoney-I know he's NOT under contract with WWE-he told me last month at an Indie show while my buddy took his Polaroids for him & Jake Roberts (hint...hint...) Would fit in well with a LotF fed, don't you think? Plus, he hates the WWE Mick Foley-yes, he is under contract to WWE, but I noticed his picture on the cover of the new Ring of Honor DVD today-a glimmer of hope? Plus, I see him about once every couple of weeks & could mention it to him (P.S.-Nicest guy you'll ever meet) Roadkill-If for nothing else, to give Danny Doring back his tag team partner (interesting sidenote, I met this guy in Wal-Mart!) Axl Rotten-Definition of hardcore, but a genuinely nice guy when I met him at a KISS concert Lance Storm & Shane Douglas (with Francine,of course)-Throw in Candido & you've got the Triple Threat) Lita- I know she showed up at Raw's 15th anniversary, but I don't believe she's under contract Just a few ideas... By the way, Flair will be next to impossible. WWE would not even let him attend the NWA Legends reunion recently! Blasphemous! Ok, settle down everyone. I was never a Goldberg fan either. But, I wouldn't care if was signed to LOW. Maybe the dice wouldn't be kind to him. ;D All the others you mentioned would be possible, aside from Foley who I would be shocked if he wasn't under WWE contract. Isn't he doing commentary for them these days with Ross? Would that mean that if you get all those guys you have an LOW Extreme set?

The good thing about this game is, if you don't like someone, don't use them. I personally don't use guys like Dallas Page, Konnan, the James Gang or Buff. They are all pointless in my view. So you just put them in the bottom of your container or whatever you keep your cards in and don't use them. Easy. But others are gonna use them, so it is all good.

Ok first off I am not a Goldberg mark but come on, this guy was not as bad as you make him out to be, then you talk about no talent bums like Balls and Axl, really you can sit there and say Goldberg is not a Legand in a make-believe scripted world which he dominated since his beginning...come on really does not make much sense does it.

My only point is that the Legends cards are rated from a kayfabe standpoint...William Regal, good as he is, should only be midcard at best, because he's never really risen above that from a kayfabe standpoint. Goldberg, a vastly inferior performer from just about every definable measure (depending on your take on the piped in "Goldberg" chants), would have a much more loaded card, for instance, because he was booked to utterly dominate everyone he faced in WCW and half the guys he faced in WWE. I think you hit that on the head Tommy. I think Chad, Cory and Tim make the card based on their "place in history" rather than than their "ability" Heck, can you imagine Dean Malenko with ten Level 3 Offense moves?!?! I agree, Tommy did hit it right on, the only issue I have is stats for wrestlers should be of them at their best point in their career and I think some cards are weaker then they should be, one example is Jim Duggan, his stats are more WWE then UWF.

I have more respect for a "no talent" guy (your words, not mine) that goes out there & takes a beating & puts on a good show than I could ever have for a guy who insults my intelligence by running up some huge meaningless win streak by "dominating" NO TALENT guys (those were mine). OK, I thought of one thing Goldberg did bring to the table for me as a wrestling fan: For the first time since I was a kid, he got me to root for Hulk Hogan, who we all know had all the wrestling ability in the world.
I'd rather see Doink the Clown immortalized on a Legends card!

I maintain, as I long have, that everyone deserves a card at some point.

I maintain, as I long have, that everyone deserves a card at some point. I think I can say two exceptions (in my opinion): Invader I and Chris Benoit. If either of those were in a set, I'd pass on buying the set.
