Good thing RAW is 3 hours tonight so Micheal Cole and JR can dance and fat pile of crap Mick Foley can bore the absolute tears out of me.
Cena's dad turning heel was awesome though.

Not missing a thing, so I guess watching the Vikes on MNF is on! (although it's not a very good game for the Vikes right now )

Hey that was a nice swerve. I expected a Rock and Sock cock block on Cena but instead Rock dumped Foley on his lumpy ass. Best part of the show so far.

I can't stand Rock anymore, but the more people cheer him, the more he'll just run out and beat people up. The only part of the show I liked was Punk beating the p*** out of Cole.

yeah it was. everything with Cole is stupid. They let Punk come out to tell us that too, so why have Cole out there to begin with? nobody wants him there. he ruins the show. so many other things to watch, i was in and out of RAW all night.

Here's something I really don't get - two of your top guys - CM Punk (who is booked in the Main Event tag match) and The Rock (the feature) are both prematurely thrown out there out of nowhere, both during stupid skits. This makes zero sense to me. Do you know how much momentum and excitement that takes away from when Punk comes out for his eventual match and Rock comes out at the end of the show??? I do not get this at all.
Why double up their appearances? Just book the damn tag match BEFORE the show, announce it to open the show, forget the skit, and have Punk come out ONCE. It's such a drag to hear guys music twice and seriously expect fans to be just as excited to see them the 2nd time as they were the 1st. Throwing Rock out there to humiliate Foley (btw good for Vince!!!!!) was a waste of the Rock's appearance. I totally love that Vince clowned Foley and made him look bad, but he could have used someone other than the Rock imo. Although Rock kicking his ass was great.
also, does anyone notice how often the faces go over the heels? It seems like in every match the heels are losing. Last night Barret's squad gets beaten up and run from the ring and the Cena and Rock EASILY waste Miz and Truth. Miz and Truth look like mid card guys at best in all of this. The age old booking of the heels building up heat by destroying the faces leading up to their big match, only for the faces to overcome adversity and finally defeat the heel seems all but gone from the booking plans in WWE 2011.

I have a theory on this..... On TV the faces seem to walk all over the heels, but once a PPV comes along the Heels tend to almost always go over (unless they are being fed to either Cena or Orton). As for Raw on a whole. "This is your life" would have been ALOT better if Cena went heel on the people Foley brought out which is what the Rock did during the first segment, but Cena has the play to the 8 year old boys and girls in the audience and be all nice about the whole situation. The biggest thing that bothers me about John Cena's character is I don't think he will EVER go heel. Everyone in the business (except of Steamboat [who is in a class all by himself]) flipped back and forth between Heel and Face over the years. A few downsides for me right now in the WWE are both Micheal Cole and Johnny Ace. The WWE will be way better off when these two are removed from Television. Johnny Ace will probably be gone just before the Rumble, but seeing as there is no one on commentary in position to take over for Cole I see see him being on TV for the foreseeable future. As much as I loved JR as announcer during the attitude era his time has come and gone.

I actually like Michael Cole....the unbiased COMMENTATOR. The character Michael Cole though, needs to go. Cole as an announcer is infinitely better than when he started. And I actually like when he is calling a match. Just not when he goes character overboard.

This was a pretty lame show. The 3 Hour Raw's have been consistently bad for a long time. They don't let the matches go on longer or run some big angle, it's usually more promos, in this case bad Cole-JR segment and Garbage Foley's This Is Your Life.
What SP said was right, I don't see Cena ever going heel. I really don't mind that actually. It's cool to see someone in his spot not have to jump sides to keep the crowd buzzing. He's like Endgame. People will like him for what he is, some will hate him for it. The part I hate is that he ALWAYS wins. They have to do a better job of establishing the heels. The faces should go over more at PPVs and less in the main events each week. Of course they should win sometimes on TV but the heels hardly ever stand tall when the show's over.
Johnny Ace has grown on me, I hated him at 1st but they need to develop this storyline a bit quicker because he's not an established character, his texting and possible class action lawsuit group has kind of fizzled.
As far as guys coming out twice, the WWE has a long track record for this. On 24/7 they are showing a Raw from '97 (I think) where UT and SCSA are in the opening segment and then have a tag match at the end of the show. But I agree that they've played out that scenario so now they need to go away from it.
Back to this week's Raw, I for the life of me, cannot understand why we are seeing JR and Cole in this stupid feud for the 2nd time in less than a year. I know they hit the reset button on a lot of things but usually they wait longer than this.
I look at Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler and wonder why these guys are still in the midcard. Maybe there's something with them backstage that we don't see but these 2 guys are really good in the ring and they should be getting pushed up to the main event. I never understood why Swagger got pushed down so fast after his WHC run. He had a great feud/promo stuff with Big Show.
CM Punk is the only reason I tune into Raw. Can't stand Cena and the faces always winning, The Rock does NOTHING for me. His promos have been the same since 1999. How can people get excited to see him when he's only gonna be there a week here, a week there?
All the twitter references make me want to puke. Just hoping to see an occasional good storyline and a good match every now and then. I've been watching my CHIKARA & ROH dvds a lot lately, that's keeping my appetite for good wrestling/storylines satisfied.
