What confuses me about the SS Tag Match

There's a part of the SS match between Rock/Cena and Miz/Truth that confuses me. Maybe I'm missing something, and maybe someone and clarify.

Okay, here goes they storyline as I see it;

Miz and R-Truth form a tag team that terrorizes the entire federation, somehow even more than the Nexus, and to the point where nearly the entire federation walks out in fear for their well-beings even after the two are fired. They are then brought back by John Larin . . Larn . . .Ace who replaces Triple H as head of WWE and also signs Keven Nash, who also has been doing whatever he wants. This almost sounds like Ace is trying to acquire Vince's job while causing as much chaos as possible.

While Nash is busy with Trips, Miz and Truth continue with their havoc, resulting in two of wrestling's biggest starts, John Cena and The Rock, to reluctantly join forces to stop the two upstarts once and for all.

I should also mention that Miz (who pointed this our already) became the first wrestler to defeat Cena at Wrestlemania, thanks to Rock, and Miz is probably feeling about 10 feet tall because of it. Meanwhile, his feud with Cena has resulted in Truth gaining a very vicious edge.

So now the two top stars have to join forces to stop two monsters, who terrify the entire fed (even when their combined weight is under 500 lbs), and they are partly responsible for creating this threat in the first place.

So we have two top stars forming a team to stop the two threats they created, who are allowed to run free thanks to a former wrestler who seems to be out for Vince's job, who signed a third wrestler to do the same to Trips.

I'm not confused by any of the above. What confuses me is that the WWE has this entire storyline, and they STILL screw it up!

I know some people don't agree, but I really think all this is the result of the CM Punk storyline of the summer back firing on them. It sure looks to me like behind closed doors, HHH, Nash, Stephanie and probably Vince thought CM Punk would fall flat on his face in his role of the "voice of the voiceless".

Punk was supposed to be the bad guy, leaving the WWE with the belt. HHH was supposed to be the big hero in all of that, bringing Punk back, then of course pinning him on PPV. But instead nobody stopped cheering Punk when HHH beat him on and no one thought it was "cool" when Nash came back and power bombed Punk and screwed him out of the title.

Everyone still cheers Punk but now he's a watered down version of his summer character, because now he's a face, which is a lot less cool than the bad guy talking smack about the product. In short, they panicked when everything Punk was saying actually turned out to be true, so they had to squash all that real quick. As a result, they gave the "outsider" role to Miz and Truth, and here we are. Punk gets a consolation in a top role no doubt, but it's gotta sting to see Miz and Truth be handed the gimmick he created for himself as the ultimate outsider.

If this match was Punk, in his heel voice of the voiceless role and Miz vs. Rock (who Punk would tear to shreds on the mic) and Cena everyone would be cheering for Punk. Imagine how epic that would have been.

I think they realized that and decided they can't have Punk being cheered over Cena and/or the Rock.

I'm really wondering if we could see a John Cena heel turn tonight. Remember this is Survivor Series where upsets and swerves are common. Go to the past and you have Andre's upset win over Hogan, The Demolition and Powers of Pain double turn, The Montreal swerve, and the Rock becoming the Corporate champion.

I've thought of this for a long time but after seeing Cena get almost no reaction in his hometown of Boston on Monday the pieces do seem to fit. He's getting booed way more then cheered. You have Punk and Orton as the two main baby faces with Sheamus not far behind them. And the crowd doesn't seem to care for a baby face vs baby face main event at Mania which is still 4 months away and I'm guessing the Rock will be leaving again for an extended period of time.

It might not happen but this is the best chance the WWE has to turn Cena who is really getting stale. I'm thinking Miz and Truth by a double turn.

Nope, just a boring tag match where Rock against is a complete prick . . . and either they're really piping in the cheering or the fans are dumb as rocks in arenas.
