I know at one time there was talk of new charts and a new box for cotg. I noticed you can no longer buy the charts and instructions from the web site.
Has there been any news on when the new charts and box may be released?

I of course don't know anything official but I'm almost sure Tom said a GCON last summer during the Q&A that new charts were on the drawing board for 2012.

If it's anything like the new Special Matches companion that was to come out like 2 years ago, we may be waiting a while. I don't see what's wrong with the current charts, I'm happy with them.

I hope the idea is to make them sleek and colorful to match the cards. And I hope they don't have any Add 1's. Those charts are match killers imo. Tried using them and couldn't. Been using the original charts forever. Hope the new ones are more like the original ones. Let the cards determine the outcome, not the charts. |

I personally like having some more variability in matches, so I like the newest charts. However, for beginners, I can understand wanting them to be simpler.

More variables not using the advanced rules? Hmm. I use them (and ch charts) because I also want more variety in my matches. Weird. I guess it's all perspective.  |
