I have my own house rules on choice charts ... but that's what makes this game great. We can make up our own rules as we go.

However, when it comes to GCon and other Con tournaments, you have to play by the established rules. And that's the best part of GCon and other Con tournaments - is learning all of those "official" rules that you never played solo, and learning that there are actual strategies to playing certain rolls and tag teams by watching people with weaker cards than you roll through you into the next round.
