So, a full year before the current CBA was set to expire, the MLB and MLBPA extended the current deal with a few minor tweaks for 5 more years. Yet, noone is discussing it. But the NBA lockout is discussed every damn day in some aspect or medium. Cudos to the MLB for getting a deal done and showing that not all billionaires/millionaires are as stupid as the NBA and it's players dis-association.

Mike & Mike talked about the MLB deal this morning and honestly it's good to see the MLB keep business flowing. The NBA is the biggest joke and both sides are to blame, I honestly would love to see that League fold. If the NBA gets a deal done, contraction might happen with the Big Market Owners saying they'd contract if the Small Market Owners hold them back. Anyway, good for the MLB & Players on keeping the League running as smooth as they can...

NBA? Is that some kind of gangsta rap band? As a basketball fan, I say good riddance to the NBA. Maybe, just maybe, the game itself can be salvaged if that league never ever plays again.

I honestly miss the old Continental Basketball Association which was a Fun league in my view. I use to enjoy watching and following via the sports page of those games...

Apparently the NBA is watching as the owners and players today reached a tentative agreement which will start the season on December 25th.
