It's also lasted almost as long as the Turner owned WCW.

Well...
for all of TNA's faults in the booking department, they've been a lot smarter about money than Heyman ever was. Really, ECW would've lasted longer if Heyman hadn't tried to take the product national. The touring to venues outside of Philadelphia really killed them in the end.

They could have succeeded on a national scale had Heyman not been so poor with money. The guy spent more than he made, bottom line and end of story. He treated himself to the spoils and didn't leave enough to pay his bills. They had all the pieces in place with merchandising (toys, video games, etc) and a national television deal and had he taken care of business first they would have continued to grow and thrive. Remember why the roster got depleted at the end: it wasn't so much that the talent got raided, it was that he didn't pay guys like RVD and they left.

Yeah, didn't Credible go off on the fans once when they started chanting, "You sold out," telling them they didn't pay his bills?

Things that suck don't always go away quickly. This. Nothing against the talent there but the booking/writing is just terrible. I try to watch this on Thursday nights but always find myself doing something else, something like rolling up a card while TNA plays in the background.

You dont think TNA is losing money? TNA is just a tax haven for Panda Energy. Heyman may have lost money, but don't think TNA is any better financially. If Panda Engery pulled out, TNA would die in about 30 days.

TNA was actually breaking even before the economy took a dive. But, having investors IS being smarter on the financial end.
