I tell you, this is a fantastic case of "pre-loading". Someone posted on a wrestling "news" site that the image looks phallic, and suddenly the story got spread over the internet and many people see it that way. The shirt has been on the wweshop website for about a week now and to me it looks like a picture of a dude standing with his arms folded. I think this tells me more about the observers than the image in question.
What's on these guys' minds, anyway? Freud, what do you think? Just a cigar?

What's the problem ? Or point here ? Nothing for sane, rational, or mature people. For others, this is one of those things that doesn't exist until it's pointed out. Then the mind fills in the blanks and "sees" a weiner. Look at the silver/white portion of the tights between the gold areas of the jacket. With the curve at the top and the line on the tights, people are saying it looks like a wang. (I don't know how "family friendly" we need to be here, so I'm using the most juvenile euphemisms possible, but you get the point). Again, to me this is one of those great examples of what I like to call mass hypnotism: people "see" it because they're told that someone else does and then their mind fills in the blank so they're part of the crowd, too. |
