That's awesome. I was just trying to figure out what to do with Mantis, since he's been lost in the shuffle with me all year (and Swarm's been kind of stalled too, for that matter). This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. It's about time Mantis got interesting.
On another note, the drawing is pretty great, and it kind of reminds me of the "Sectaurs" toys I had when I was a little kid. That's a double win in my book.

Thank God for the Mantis update!! Don't know why, but he (and Swarm) hasn't been much more than comic relief in my fed. The win/loss ratio alone had kept him out of title contention throughout his career. This shift may be just what he needs to start rolling over competition, and it fits neatly into the "fed up with losing" storyline I've started for him.

I've been waiting for this feud since Mantis debuted. More sensational art by Darryl and Werner. Love the red sky. Nice touch with the greens, yellows and hint of pink. Sweet pose too. Very unique art. Mantis never looked better. Already thinking about ways to write this one. Mantis vs. Swarm could be the bloodiest feud of the year.
