Jerry Jarrett ran the CWA (TN,KY) which was a long time NWA member territory. ICW was an 'outlaw' (meaning non-NWA) promotion ran by Angelo Poffo (father of Randy Savage & Lanny Poffo). The two competed for market share and talent for quite a few years. When ICW was going under, Jarrett bought its remaining assets and Poffo's kids did an ICW 'invader' angle. Bad blood behind all parties, the angle did good business and helped launch Randy's segue into the WWF. Some footage from the angles still exists online. Wikipedia also has a decent article on the history of ICW and its collision with Jarrett's promotion. Randy Savage, an amazing promo man. RIP!

That was one crazy feud, and unlike a lot of wrestling stuff, there was some real legit heat there.

Did this ever come out on DVD? No. Most of that stuff wasn't saved because they used to reuse the tapes in those days. Most of the ICW footage that's in existence is due to viewers taping it at home off of the TV.

As well, Memphis is one of the few DVD libraries Vince doesn't own.
