It's really cool to see Daniel Bryan win the World Title, but I've seen on other boards that they think the WWE will once again enforce the Rule where Big Show had to be up on his feet and strip DB of the belt again and give him back his MitB Briefcase. I honestly hope the WWE does not allow that to take place and let DB soak up the World Title Victory Spotlight...

It's not like Big Show was "unable to compete" even if he was knocked out at the time. They took it away last time because Mark Henry wasn't cleared by doctors to compete. I think DB will have until at least Tuesday to enjoy his title win. Watch Michael Cole win it from him at the Smackdown taping Anyway, congrats to Daniel Bryan and seeing both him and Punk in that picture is just great knowing that they worked their way up through the system to reach that level.

I agree with you my friend and hope the WWE gives DB the push he deserves for his hard work getting to the spot he is now in. Ugh! Michael Cole will be horrid on commentary over Bryan's victory and the thought of Cole beating DB for the belt would be worse then Arquette winning in WCW. Anyway, it's good to see CM Punk & Daniel Bryan at the Top and not Cena & Orton holding the Gold...

About Cole, that would be horrible and I'm sorry I even brought it up but I wouldn't put it past WWE to do that which is why it popped into my brain. They love ruining the the feel good moments for the so-called "internet smarks". I do wonder what this does as far as Bryan cashing in before WrestleMania, though they could just drop that from the storyline. Anyway I eagerly await the results of Smackdown but at least for now DB is the world heavyweight champion

I could see it going either way, but it starts to get pointless if they keep teasing DB wins and then taking the title off him. Reminds me a bit of what they did with Benoit when he first came there though.
It does remind me however why I'm tired of the MITB things...they always end the same way face or heel.

Congrats to the American Dragon. In regards to just how quick he'll drop the belt. Road Dogg, now a wwe "producer", spilled the beans on his twitter last week that he took Mark Henry to the doctors to have an injury checked out. I've read rumors that his injury, believed to be a pulled groin(insert dirty joke here), is more serious than thought. Rather than give him a lighter schedule to try to rehab, Vince made the call to take the belt off him. It is rumored that originally Henry would retain til Mania and face DB one on one, or possibly in a 4 way with Orton and Barrett. Again all rumors, but based on how the match went at TLC could be true.

First off, it's awesome as hell to see Bryan win the title. Doesn't matter really how long he has it, his name is in the history now.
Second off, I understand plans had to be changed because of Henry's injury.
That said, I'm going to turn things sour again...the turning of both Championships into the Hardcore title twice a year is starting to get old. I loved the 24/7 Hardcore title but it was the least serious belt of all-time. Continually booking these fluky title changes when one guy is wiped out is turning into a worn-out cliche, and it ISN'T DOING ANYTHING for anybody. This title win in and of itself is going to do nothing to make Bryan any more over than he already is.
It worked with Edge because it was still fresh. It worked with RVD because for once they broke the formula. But I don't care what anyone says, "cashing in" didn't do jack shit for CM Punk, and in the long run it won't mean much for Bryan either.
Hey, it doesn't bother me how much Bryan is pushed or not pushed, as long as he's delivering good matches I'm happy even if he jobs every one. I'm just becoming less of a fan of World Champions who aren't pushed like Champions.

Congrats to DB. Hopefully this isn't a Dusty finish or Long is going to beat out Vicki as most hated heel on Smackdown.

So this year when IWC favorite Christian won the World title at Extreme Rules, we found out that US #1 enemy Bin Laden had died. Sunday with IWC favorite Daniel Bryan winning the World title, we found out that Kim Jong-Il had died. Clearly Vince needs to push more WWE internet favorites to the World title on WWE ppvs, because only good things can happen to America!
