Awesome to see Perfect Specimen become a three-time IP champion... I really think Spec has the ability to bring the Titans back to a place of real prominence in the GWF... Arguably the most athletically gifted talent on the roster, he could become one of the main event draws for years to come...
Harbingers vs Law Dogs in the tournament final... Exactly what I was hoping to see (after the Vampires got eliminated, that is)... The post-show brawl is always a superb way to add fuel to the fire... And dubbing Paganax the Big Red Machine was a cool touch...
Can't wait to see who brings home the Cup!

Somewhere on Draco, in the home of Coven Black.......... Black sits alone in a dimly lit room, staring out the widow at Draco's moons. Suddenly there's a knock at his sanctuary's door " Enter!", the door opens and a tall thin, pale man enters the room " Master, you have a visitor." there's a long pause as Black seems lost it thought. " Master?" " Who is it Alistair?" " It's Bishop Hell sir." again there's a long pause as Black just continues to stare out the window. " Master?..... Should I send him away?" Seemingly annoyed Black stands up and walks to the window. " No, send him in." " As you wish sir." Alistair exits the room and minutes later Hell walks into the room. Still looking looking out the window Black addresses his visitor " Are you with us?", Bishop balks at the question " Where's Necros?". Just then Necros steps out of the shadows, seeming to appear out of thin air, and gets right in Hell's face with fangs bared " My blood brother asked you a question?" Unafraid and defiantly Hell spoke through gritted teeth "I'm here aren't I?!". Black spins around and laughs " Yes...... Yes you are, and so it begins." Necros speaks in a eerily calm sadistic voice " This might be your home Black but remember your place, I am the elder here." Black kneels instantly " I spoke out of place, it will not happen again." Necros puts his hand on the head of Black " Rise my brother for soon we will both be kneeling when the Ancient One rises." Bishop is still defiant " Who's the ancient one?" Ignoring Bishop's question Necros continues to address his brother in blood. " I must leave now and prepare for the coming of the Ancient One, All Hollows Eve will be upon us before we know it." and with that Necros disappears into a mist. Black then turns his attention to his new team mate " Come my friend we must talk."........................ |

Drury is in an incredibly good mood as he laughs and talks with his team in the Commissioner's luxury office. Picking the Galaxian Cup up off his desk "We had an awesome night last night, I won the cup, Bex and Sur beat the tag champs." Bex grumbles "Yeah.... but we didn't win the belts." and Shayne interjects "YOU.... won the cup?" Sly pats his top star on the back "WE won the cup, Bex and Sur beat the mangy dogs, my Security Squad just continues to mow down opponents and Patch beat the hell out Clinch..... Yes, yes indeed it was a good night." Skiver speaks up "Yeah, but let's not get over confident. After all the Gladiators come back next card, not to mention EVERY group and team are gunning for us." Patch puts his arm around his partners neck "Don't be a killjoy bro." Sly then speaks in a calm serious tone "I have it all taken care of, starting next card I'm going to have our enemies destroy each other. Starting with the Gladiators versus the Ani-Men in an Ultimate escape match." Looks at Shayne "But it's on you to take care of Bishop Hell." The Galactic champ grins "No problem." Sly again becomes upbeat "I'm also introducing two new titles next card....... the G.W.F. SIX-MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP tournament will start." Shayne speaks up " I'll bite, what's the other title?" Sly walks behind his desk and pulls out a brief case, puts it on his desk and opens it to reveal a beautiful gold belt with a red strap. "It's the UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP." Shayne interest perks up "You going to present it to me next card to replace the Galactic title?" Putting the belt over his shoulder Sly walks back around to the front of his desk "No............ This is mine and will only be defended against 'very' and I mean very worthy contenders." Looking pissed Shayne snaps "So which belt is the top belt now?!" Grinning Sly responds " I don't know Shayne, which is bigger a Galaxy or the Universe?" Now enraged, Shayne storms out of the room yelling as he goes "THIS IS TOTAL BULLSHIT!!! THE GALACTIC CHAMPIONSHIP IS THE TOP PRIZE IN ALL OF WRESTLING!!!" Door slams behind him, as all the Martial Law members exchange looks among one another until Sly breaks the silence. "He'll cool down and come to his senses and accept his place in the pecking order." Patch speaks cautiously "...and if he don't? Sly gets deadly serious "He will." |

In definite agreement with Swarm... Shayne and Drury winning the Cup at this stage of the game was exactly what needed to happen... But, will it be enough to keep the Real Ordeal from going rogue on the new commissioner... Don't think Sly picked a very wise time to present himself with a new championship (while implying it had greater prestige than the one Shayne currently holds)... On the flip side, he showed pretty solid thinking by giving the Immortals that title shot... Nice peace offering... Great to see Disciple still rolling on the victory trail... And of course, I was very pleased to see Black and Necros taking out HelSin before his tag match... The Hunters will soon realize they are out of their depth... Exceptional show! |
