Guess Daniel Bryan might be keeping the belt longer than most people expected, lol.

This is the right time for the WWE to push One or Two others to the Top with Orton & Henry both dealing with their injuries. Daniel Bryan is at the Top at the right time and this could be a good time for the unusual talent on Smackdown to move-up, it'll be interesting to see how Orton's injury effects the rest of the roster...

Well means they'll need to find a 3rd face after Bryan and Sheamus for one.

FROM LORDS OF PAIN Randy Orton suffered a back injury at Tuesday's SmackDown tapings and could miss up to 6 months - keeping him out of action past WrestleMania Tough break. Randy was one of the chosen ones, and while most guys fail, he legit grew into the spot. With Orton out, if Cena went down at this point, Vince would be in serious dire straits!

WWE.com has released details concerning Randy Orton's condition following an injury he suffered at Tuesday's SmackDown taping, including how long The Viper could be sidelined.
Although the full extent of his injury remains to be seen, WWE physician Dr. Michael Sampson examined Orton and updated WWE.com about his condition.
"Randy suffered a herniated disc on the L4-L5 level on the left side, and that’s resulting in pain and weakness down his leg." Sampson explained. "He's going to need some time off for rehab, anti-inflammatory medications and physical therapy."
WWE.com adds that the injury could keep him sidelined for a few weeks.
Sheamus will replace Orton in Street Fights against Wade Barrett at WWE live events this week. ******************************************************
hopefully a few weeks rehab will work. that would be much better than 6 months

I guess now would be a pretty good time to start training/pushing the younger guys. If Cena so much as sprains his ankle, they're screwed.

I just watched SD and saw the match. I couldn't catch any specific spot where he might have got hurt. Great match though. I like that feud too. No drama, no silliness, just two guys beating the living crap out of each other. Reminded me of an 80's Mid-South-type feud.
Also, them fighting in the elevator was hilarious! I don't think I've ever seen that in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
Now, was the spot with Barrett tossing Orton down the steps added on AFTER Orton was injured? Like they taped it the next day and spliced it in?

I think Orton's back problems have been an ongoing issue, so they probably had Barrett "throwing" him down the stairs as a way to write him out while he heals up.
