The 2012 Winter Classic is coming up Monday afternoon. Two teams I hate are playing (Rangers vs. Flyers), but should be a very entertaining game! Now to bring the 2013 Winter Classic to the D!

As with you, i didn't have a team in the game and was looking forward to watching...but with the start time change the local nbc affiliate decided to NOT reschedule and instead went with the normal afternoon programming. Needless to say, by the time nbc found out at the corporate level and switched the game to the new nbc sports net, the game was into the 2nd period... I did watch and the game had a agreat finish...anaother good event to add to this series...but the nhl really needs more pull with the networks to get back into the big time of sports in the US.

Wow, didn't think the locals had the option not to show the game. Weird. Great finish, although a little controversial with the penalty shot and the non-call on the Rangers breakaway afterward.
