Some tight match ups this round:
Captain Lou over Mr. Fuji
Albano at his peak was a top residual money draw. He sold countless programs. Fuji was a character who was limited by a language barrier. Squash!
Paul Bearer over Wild Red Berry
Even before the Bearer character, PB was an effective talent. Amazing facials and character projection. Berry suffers from a lack of surviving footage. The same can be said of vintage greats like Bobby Davis and Ma Bass...their exposure to later fans is limited.
Gary Hart over Paul E Dangerously
This was a tough one. Straight up as a money drawing manager, Gary Hart on longevity and scope. As a player with-in the industry, its very close. They were a product of different times, but Hart at his peak was a more powerful figure than Heyman was at his. Two all time greats.
Jimmy Hart over Miss Elizabeth
Jimmy was more effective in the role, albeit less beloved by the casual fans
Bobby Heenan over Skandar Akbar
The Brain could promo, bump and draw with any manager in history
Jim Cornette over Paul Ellering
I'm not a Cornette Fan, but he was way more effective than Ellering
JJ Dillon over Ted DiBiase
Dillon in a squash. I'm surprised DiBiase got this far!
Freddie Blassie over Sunny
Blassie takes it on longevity
