Maybe it's the way the match-ups fell, but I'm shocked to see Big Show in the finals.
Is he seriously only 2nd best EVER to Andre? This poll has really made me put some thought into Big Show and his career, and when I look back he does have a hell of a resume.
He's got the championships (but nothing special), he's been in some huge storylines (nWo, vs. Hogan in WCW, in WrestleMania Main Events kinda), and looking back over the past several years of his career (maybe since Jerishow) he has done some pretty wild and impressive things in the ring (I've never seen him put as much effort into a feud with anyone as he is now w Mark Henry).
But with all that said, I still can't help but feel like his career is mostly a disappointment. Considering his size and agility that comes with it, Big Show should/could have been THE guy for a long, long time. He could have been right there with Hogan, Taker, HHH, Rock, Austin and Andre legit, and I don't think he is anywhere close to that level in the history books. I feel like all we heard for years was about how "if only Big Show could get it" from other wrestlers. It wasn't that long ago that Show was crying on stage, saying Ric Flair inspired him with some speech about how Show could be the best ever if he could get his head into it. Overall, I felt like Show made a great tag heavy for numerous partners, but mostly failed as a singles wrestler, especially as a face. I've always hated his goofy ass attitude as a face.
I see a guy like Vader and I think "there's a big man who reached the pinnacle of his career." I look at Big Show and think "what could have been."
I don't know where I would list Big Show on my all time big man list, but def not 2nd and sure as shit not 1 over Andre.

to get to the finals, in the previous rounds of this tournament Big Show defeated
Giant Baba by a vote total of 23-9
Kane by a vote total of 22-10
Bam Bam Bigelow by a vote total of 22-11
Bruiser Brody by a vote total of 16-14

Big Show over Brody no way................Big Show on his best day wasn't 10% of Brody IMO! Not hard to see who I voted for in finals.
