Hey, I've been toying with this idea for a while and finally got up the gumption to post about it thanks to seeing the divisional set up of the Not@GCon tourney. So I was thinking of working towards establishing an online e-fed using the pbp simulator and a message board for promos and stuff. Here's what I was thinking...
The galaxy would be divided up into 4 separate divisions, each with their own flare. The Aethran division, for instance, could be like old school ECW with all the matches being special/no-dq. If this got off the ground I'd be looking for 3 people to join me as regional promoters so each of us would handle 1 region. We'd also have characters obviously just not in our own divisions. Once that was sussed out we'd look to see who wants to join in, I figure each person could have a singles wrestler, a tag team, a female wrestler and maybe a manager.
I was thinking we'd have a sort of stable vs stable set up(though this isn't necessarily set in stone obviously, could just be my region that does this) and cards would be run on a bi-weekly basis. I figure this will keep things regular for people to read(2 regions a week would post cards) but not put so much stress on the regional promoters that we get burned out and start hating our 'jobs'(such as they are here).
So, thoughts? Any interest? Does what I've said here make sense? Thanks!
