HUGE NEWS FOR Z AND POW FANS! After many months of careful planning, it has been decided that POW's very own MIKE "MACK" MELESKY will take over the reigns of the GWFZ TERRITORIES GIANT HANDBOOK 2.0 AND ----------- AS A BLOCKBUSTER SURPRISE -------- P.O.W. WILL OFFICIALLY LIVE ON AS THE NEWEST TERRITORY IN GWFZ TERRITORIES!
(I'll let Mike fill all the details to you guys) I've asked Mike to work with Jamie OD in adding his Puroresu Spirit characters to TERRITORIES 2.0 HANDBOOK as well. The plan is to add all of Jamie's guys as PDF characters along with the updated handbook. Once Mike and Jamie figure out their game plan I'll let them give more deets. SO THERE IT IS! POW FANS! Z FANS! THIS ONE IS FOR YOU! BIG THANKS TO MIKE MELESKY FOR STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE! Look for more from Mike soon. Until then, let the anticipation and guess work begin! POW![/b]

Are we (the promoters) going to be able to submit one wrestler for $50.00 each like we did for GWFZ Territories?

Are we (the promoters) going to be able to submit one wrestler for $50.00 each like we did for GWFZ Territories? From what I understand it is a chance to give all of the current wrestlers a proper write up in the handbook along with POW and Puroresu Spirit added in. I'm not sure if we are doing the fan sign-ups for new wrestlers again.

Are we (the promoters) going to be able to submit one wrestler for $50.00 each like we did for GWFZ Territories? No. GWFZ Territories was a very special thing designed to allow those who never had the chance to win a Promoter Madness spot to get in on the fun. 133 playing cards later I think that goal was accomplished and it would cheapen that great accomplishment if we ever went back on our word to those fans (and ourselves). All this is is Mike coming to me and asking my plans to finish the Territories book. Long story short Mike asked if he could help and after careful planning, we decided that it only made sense for Mike to take over control of finishing the handbook (adding character write ups, more arena listings, expanded feuds etc...) while at the same time integrating POW into the book and adding it as a giant new (and dominant) territory. I do not have any plans to work on POW at all. POW belongs to Mark Ashby and his crew. That includes Mike Melesky, Darth Turkish, Todd I think and a couple other guys. Haven't been able to reach Mark so I'm just letting Mike handle that side of things. Once Mike has the details figured out he and his crew will let you guys in on all of them I'm sure. All I'm doing here is giving Mike and the guys the open book for Territories to add in POW and make it a top 3 territory. Their story will now simply fit into everyone's elses (promoters) stories in Territories. POW has always been a niche fed kept alive by it's most loyal of fans so it only makes sense that POW be part of the biggest promoter made set ever - Territories. My only involvement will be contributing a new POW character or two. I have finished art for a new MMA guy I will happily hand over to the guys for the new POW set, but that's it. This is correct. Jamie's Puroresu Spirit guys are perfect fits for Territories. I want Mike and the guys to add all of Jamie's guys as PDF cards along w the new handbook. If they decide to go the cardstock way that's their decision. Again, hands off for me on this. Just blessings. Whatever Mike and Mark and Jamie and Darth want to do all up to them. Look for a firm ETA from Mike soon. This whole POW thing has been sitting around forever so not hopefully this is the jolt the guys need to get it done. I'm def interested in seeing the handbook finally finished. ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH MIKE AND THE CREW ON THIS PLEASE CONTACT MIKE VIA PM. HE MAY BE LOOKING FOR 1 OR 2 HELPING HANDS. If he can use your skills he will let you know! any questions feel free to ask.

As one might imagine, this is a monstrous project. While Rob and his team did a great job adding 131 characters (!!!) in 1 book, a few mistakes were made due to the sheer magnitude of promoter submissions coupled with a desire to deliver this edition in a timely fashion.
If memory serves, the original manual was 185 pages, and it will increase in size once we start working on it. The plan is to go through each territory, one by one, and make sure that we correct and and all mistakes/omissions and clear up any confusion that might have come up.
That doesn't even include Jaimie's Puroresu Spirit characters or the POW. We also need to make sure that our POW/GWFZ/GWF timelines synch up and everything works seamlessly.
We also want this to be the last version of the Territories booklet. As a result, I'm not putting a date on when this project will be finished yet. We all want to see this done right, so I'll make an announcement on when it will be released when I'm confident that we can deliver a top-notch product.

Hey, taking time to get it all right is awesome, and gives us all something to look forward to. I would rather it all be the best it can be than to be rushed out, even if it means a year or two, or three.
