I wanted to present this to the other members to garner some more addition that may make it a more refined system.
The Zone Scoring System
Base points 3 pts - Clear Win 2 pts - Count Out Vicory 1 pt - DQ Win
Bonus Pts 2 pts - Finisher Win 1 pt - Dominate performance 2 pts - Be in a 5 Star Match 1 pt - Compete in the Main Event 1-3 pts - Wildcard pts. Awarded for outstanding acts.
Zone Championship Pts 5 pts - Championship Win 3 pts - Successful Defence
Penalty Points -2 - Clear Lose -1 - DQ Lose -1 - Buried in Match -3 - Championship Lose
I had the thought of giving the rookies a base 'IT' Factor by using their Rhal Rating but desided to leave it out. Do you think it should be added back in? If so for what reasons?
The Wildcard pts are there so that loses can be offset by 'performance' aspects.

Overall, I like the system but I'd probably take out these three and use the wildcard points in their place: - 1 pt - Dominate performance
- 2 pts - Be in a 5 Star Match
- -1 - Buried in Match

The system looks good. Are all of the concepts objectively measured or are some of the components internalized (ie. dominate performance, 5 star match, buried in a match)?
With the penalty points I could see an argument that any form of loss should have a uniform point consequence (ie. loss by pin/submission, loss by count out & loss by DQ all being -2). If there are different ways for a wrestler to score points when losing than a wrestler on the verge of defeat would have a perverse incentive to do something (get counted out, get disqualified) to minimize the penalty.
Your bonus point structure rewards Clear Win over Wins by DQ & Count Out (which creates a positive incentive to win outright) which makes sense because theoretically every wrestler should be trying for an outright victory. Incentivizing the flip side has pros & cons. While for practical reasons the way someone loses probably should be noted in some way (in terms of point standings, rankings, payouts) attempting to do so by scoring differently creates the unintended consequence of instituting a 'beneficial way to lose'. It's a Catch 22.

This is the modified system after reviewing the suggestions.
- I merged the Count out Victory with the DQ victory. - I removed the bonus for dominate performance as well as the Buried penalty. - I grouped all loses together an bumped up the penalty.
The Zone Scoring System
Base points 3 pts - Clear Win 2 pts - Count Out Victory or DQ Victory
Bonus Pts 2 pts - Finisher Win 1 pts - Be in a 5 Star Match 1 pt - Compete in the Main Event 1-3 pts - Wildcard pts. Awarded for outstanding acts.
Zone Championship Pts 5 pts - Championship Win 3 pts - Successful Defense
Penalty Points -3 - Lose
I am still on the fence on whether or not to use the Rahl Rating for the 'IT' factor. This would give some of the better wrestlers a clear advantage, but on the flipside, thats what we are looking for.

Looks pretty similar to my War Games scoring system. But I would take out the subjective ones (wildcard, dominant performance, etc.). It's too easy to manipulate the results that way. I like letting the dice decide better.
