Has anyone here ever used guest celebrity hosts for their feds like the WWE does each week for RAW?
I'm personally not a big fan of the constant guest host idea the way RAW does it (although I have liked some of the guest host stuff), but I could see where it might be fun and creatively challenging to use them at least occasionally in your COTG/Legends feds.
I'm thinking about bringing in some guest hosts for some of my future shows.

I only have used a "guest host" 1 time thus far and it was a very specific angle. It turned out the guest host was Larry Sweeney under his real name and in disguise, but overall, I am really not a fan of this tactic. I guess it will work in only in limited situations.

Nope. I'm not a fan of the concept unless it's going to be used for storyline purposes. It might be a good way to introduce Johnny Fairplay, though.
A related idea I've toyed with in the past is having a belt where the winner is the on-air authority figure until someone beats him.

I had Bob Barker run my LWF fed for like a year, if that counts.

Well I have been contemplating a change of Commissionership in my FLoW/BLoW feds, and I was thinking of using some celebrity to do the job. After all Bob Sagat was CHIKARA's commissioner...

I'm not big on the Raw Guest Host format but I have used guest referees, judges, ring announcers, etc to add an occasional spark. One way to go about it is by using a randomizer: Numeric Randomizer Letter RandomizerFor the CotG Brands you could set the CotG Files listing up numerically...for LOW you could do the same with something like a roster or HOF list. Then have the number randomizer spit out the 'guest'. Or you could peg the first two letters from a randomizer as the peg (initials, connectors).
