thanks to Tim Dalton and hollywoodlyn!
With now just 31 days to go until Wrestlemania 2, it's time for this week's edition of Thursday Night RAW!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Thursday February 12, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
- Start of Show: Tonight's RAW begins with footage from the end of last week's RAW when Nick Bockwinkel, upset about not getting to participate in the RAW portion of the main event at Wrestlemania 2 to challenge for Jimmy Snuka's World Championship, confronted MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino in the center of the ring.
- The footage continued to show how Bockwinkel viciously proceeded to attack Sammartino, who he blames for the end of his nearly 1 year reign as World Champion at Cyber Sunday and for his inability to obtain a 1 on 1 match to attempt to regain the World Championship, via his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK as RAW ended and went off the air.
In the Ring: Bob Backlund who Sammartino promoted during the week (see Breaking News segment) to temporarily replace him (Sammartino) as MLW Chairman.
- Backlund calls out Bockwinkel who arrives in the ring.
- Bockwinkel asks if Backlund is going to reverse Sammartino's decision and put Bockwinkel against Snuka and Brody in RAW's World Championship main event match at Wrestlemania 2.
- Backlund says no, however, Sammartino is expected to recover by Wrestlemania 2 and (seeking revenge for last weeks attack) has declared that it will be Sammartino vs Bockwinkel at Wrestlemania 2!
- Bockwinkel says good because if he can't wrestle Snuka and Brody at Wrestlemania 2 then the next best thing will be this opportunity to teach Sammartino a lesson.
- Backlund then announces that Bockwinkel will be wrestling both Snuka and Brody- but not at Wrestlemania 2. Instead tonight's main event match on RAW will be World Champion Jimmy Snuka teaming up once again with his former tag team partner and now Wrestlemania 2 challenger Bruiser Brody vs Bockwinkel and Harley Race!
Match #1: Ed "Strangler" Lewis defeated the Missing Link.
- Lewis, set to be one of the 8 participants in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2, controlled virtually the entire match and won by wearing down the Missing Link via his patented STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK.
Backstage: the New Age Outlaws ask Backlund if he can expand the tag title match at Wrestlemania 2 between the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos and the Brothers of Other Mothers (Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras) to include them and make it a 3 way tag elimination championship match just like at last year's Wrestlemania.
- Backlund says he'll consider it if the New Age Outlaws can defeat the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos in a non-title match tonight on RAW.
Match #2: The Sheik (managed by Abdullah Farouk) defeated S.D. Jones
- In a very quick match, The Sheik won via his FIREBALL as Farouk distracted the referee.
- Afterward, Farouk announced once again that The Sheik is seeking gold!
Match #3: Cruiserweight Champion Pepper Gomez defeated Gorgeous George and Iron Mike DiBiase in a cruiserweight handicap match
- Gomez, looking ready to defend his title against Smackdown's Koko B. Ware this weekend at No Way Out, won when he pinned DiBiase via a wind-up punch to stomach.
Match #4: MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by Captain Kangaroo) defeated the New Age Outlaws in a non-title match
- The Kangaroos won this match without too much trouble when Al Costello pinned B.G. James via the BOOMERANG.
- As a result, the New Age Outlaws failed to get themselves added to the title match between the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos and the Brothers of Other Mothers at Wrestlemania 2.
Backstage: Interim MLW Chairman Bob Backlund is talking to World Champion Jimmy Snuka about Snuka's concern with having to team up with his former tag team partner but now Wrestlemania 2 adversary Brody in tonight's main event.
- Backlund assures Snuka that if Brody tries to take advantage of tonight's matchup to hit Snuka with a sneak attack then Brody will lose his title shot at Wrestlemania 2.
- As Snuka leaves, Backlund is approached by Diamond Dallas Page.
- DDP asks Backlund if he has to qualify once again for this year's Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2 since he won the Money in the Bank ladder match last year at Wrestlemania.
- Backlund says yes that DDP will have to qualify once again this year and RAW's qualifying matches for its 2 remaining spots in Money in the Bank will take place next week on RAW.
- However, Backlund also tells DDP that since he never got to cash in the briefcase from last year's Money in the Bank victory due to the defeat and injury he suffered at the hands of Mr. Canada at Judgment Day, tonight on RAW DDP will get to challenge Rick Rude for the Intercontinental Championship!
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes Jim Londos vs Don Muraco, Diamond Dallas Page challenging Intercontinental Champion Rick Rude, the Brothers of Other Mothers in action, and tonight's main event of World Champion Jimmy Snuka and Bruiser Brody vs Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race.

Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Thursday February 12, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Highlights are shown of last week's RAW main event match of Londos seeking to regain the Intercontinental Championship from Rick Rude. During the match, Londos was thrown out of the ring where he got involved in a scuffle with Harley Race- who was replacing the injured Ox Baker that night as the Heenan Family's "problem solver."
After Rude won to retain the title, Race entered the ring and gave Londos a PILEDRIVER on top of a steel chair.
Following the footage from last week, the TV announcers announced a matchup of Jim Londos vs Harley Race at Wrestlemania 2 has been set!
Match #5: Jim Londos defeated Don Muraco (managed by Ladies Champion Sherri Martel)
- Londos won this match via his AIRPLANE SPIN.
Match #6: Intercontinental Champion Rick Rude (managed by Bobby Heenan and accompanied by Heenan family "problem solver" Ox Baker) defeated Diamond Dallas Page by DQ.
- For this match, Baker returned from his brief injury to once again serve at ringside as the Heenan Family's "problem solver."
- Early in this match, DDP twice came extremely close to winning the Intercontinental Championship. But Rude just managed to kick out both times.
- This match ended when the action spilled outside of the ring and Baker grabbed a steel chair only to have it snatched away by DDP who used it to smash Rude on the head as the referee called for the DQ.
- Afterward, Baker and Rude together overpowered DDP who they rolled back into the ring where Baker held DDP as Rude twice ran and rammed DDP in the face with the Intercontinental Championship.
- Suddenly the entrance music for The Sheik played and The Sheik accompanied by Abdullah Farouk, came out to the ring where he suddenly unleashed a violent attack upon Rude forcing Rude to drop the Intercontinental Championship before getting pulled away from the ring by Baker to safety.
- After his attack upon Rude, the MLW fans started to cheer until The Sheik walked over to a still downed DDP and also proceeded to unleash an extremely violent attack upon him before picking up Rude's dropped Intercontinental Championship and looking at the title in a transfixed manner before walking off with it and taking it away back to the locker room.
Wrestlemania 2 Advertisement Wrestlemania 2 Sunday March 15 15 matches in New York City, Chicago, and Las Vegas 1. World Champion Jimmy Snuka vs Bruiser Brody (steel cage match) 2. MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino vs Nick Bockwinkel 3. The Brothers of Other Mothers (Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras) vs the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos 4. Jim Londos vs Harley Race 5. Money in the Bank Ladder Match: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase vs Ed "Strangler" Lewis vs 6 more TBA competitors 6. 10 more matches TBA
Match #7: The Brothers of Other Mothers (Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras) defeated Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake
- In their first time in awhile teaming up together, the back to back winners of the Sammartino Invitational, the Brothers of Other Mothers won this match when Mascaras made Valentine tap out to an Indian deathlock while Brazil gave an attempting to interfere Beefcake a COCO BUTT.
- Can the Brothers of Other Mothers end the Fabulous Kangaroos' MLW Tag Team Championship reign, which started back at Unforgiven, at Wrestlemania 2?
Backstage: Standing next to his "problem solver" Baker and a still heavily bleeding Rude, Heenan demanded that The Sheik return Rude's Intercontinental Championship!
Match #8, the main event: Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race defeated World Champion Jimmy Snuka and Bruiser Brody
- This turned out to be an awesome main event as, despite the clear recent animosity between them, Snuka and Brody worked well together as a tag team just as they previously have when they've periodically teamed up together following Brody's arrival to RAW from Smackdown as a result of last summer's MLW Draft.
- The end came when Bockwinkel put Brody away via his BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER as Snuka leaped to make the pin save but failed to reach Bockwinkel in time.
- Afterward, as Bockwinkel got on the microphone to say "Bruno Sammartino, that's what I'm going to do to you at Wrestlemania 2," Brody stood up and glared at Snuka.
Then. despite Backlund's promise earlier tonight to Snuka that Brody couldn't attack him in this matchup, Brody suddenly threw Snuka into the turnbuckle and gave him a powerful version of his finishing JUMPING KNEE DROP before leaving the ring as tonight's show came to an end.
End of show. See you Saturday for this week's version of Saturday EAWA!

With now just 29 days to go until Wrestlemania 2, it's now time for this week's edition of Saturday EAWA!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) EAWA Saturday February 14, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Third of the show)
In the Ring: This week's show starts off with EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, along with his lackeys Virgil and King Kong Bundy, in the center of the ring.
- DiBiase says that Antonino Rocca, who at the end of last week's edition of Saturday EAWA announced his decision to use his victory last month in the Royal Rumble to move to the EAWA and challenge for the EAWA Championship at Wrestlemania 2 so he can also get revenge here on this brand upon DiBiase and Bundy for their post Rumble attack upon him, will regret his decision in the coming weeks.
- DiBiase also says that tonight's show is going to start off with the Money in the Bank Qualifying Tournament Finals and he expects his man Bundy to win this match to give DiBiase an extra edge in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2!
Match #1: Mr. Perfect defeated King Kong Bundy (accompanied by EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase and Virgil) in the Money in the Bank Qualifying Tournament Finals.
- This match, marking the end of the 3 week extreme rules tournament for the 2nd and final spot for EAWA in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2, ended when Rocca came out to ringside to make a surprise appearance to distract Bundy, DiBiase, and Virgil as Mr. Perfect then took the opportunity to nail Bundy with the HENNING PLEX for the 1, 2, 3, to win the tournament.
- As a result of winning this tournament, Mr. Perfect joins DiBiase as the 2 EAWA representatives in the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2!
Backstage: The Heroes of Hardcore (Hardcore Hodge and Hardcore Hutton) are walking down he hallway and get confronted by the Barroom Heroes (Sandman and Justin Credible).
- The Sandman tells the Heroes of Hardcore that he and Credible are going to prove someday that Hodge and Hutton really aren't hardcore at all.
- But then Hardcore Hodge gets in Sandman's face and reminds Sandman that he (Hodge) got the name Hardcore Hodge by defeating the Sandman at Major League Wrestling's first ever Great American Bash PPV in the Sandman's signature match- a Singapore Cane match.
- As the Heroes of Hardcore and the Barroom Heroes stare each other down, the action returns to the ring.
Match #2: Sabu defeated the Masked Superstar
- This match, marking the return of Sabu from the injury he suffered at the Royal Rumble, was interrupted with the Masked Superstar clearly in control when Minor League Wrestling Commissioner Charlie Cox and Timber made a surprise unannounced appearance at ringside!
- Sabu took advantage of this distraction to defeat the Masked Superstar via his finishing TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT.
In the Ring: After the match ended and Sabu and the Masked Superstar both returned to the locker room, Cox and Timber entered the ring and Cox announced that the Minor League Wrestling Invasion has begun!
- Cox said he's going to invade every Major League Wrestling brand show including tomorrow night's Smackdown presentation of No Way Out until his demands are met and tonight he challenges the EAWA to a war against Minor League Wrestling and he'll even allow the EAWA to use their home field advantage by having this war tonight in all extreme rules matches!
- An angry EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase appears and says if Cox and Minor League Wrestling want a war tonight with the EAWA then he's got it starting now as Angelo Mosca comes out and starts walking down the ring toward Cox and Timber.
Match #3: Timber defeated Angelo Mosca
- Timber won this match via his LOG SPLITTER to score what many consider an upset and put Minor League Wrestling up 1-0 in its war tonight against the EAWA.
Match #4: The Backseat Boyz defeated the Vachons (managed by "Wild" Red Berry)
- The Backseat Boyz scored an impressive victory over the former MLW Tag Team Champions the Vachons when Johnny Kashmere put Butcher Vachon away via the CRADLE BREAKER.
- As a result, Minor League Wrestling is now up 2-0 in its war tonight against the EAWA.
In the Ring: Savage-T and April Hunter
- Representing Minor League Wrestling, Savage-T brags about how extreme he is which makes it very appropriate that he is making an appearance tonight in the EAWA as everyone will soon see as he's about to give Minor League Wrestling a 3-0 lead in tonight's war!
Match #5: Konnan defeated Savage-T (accompanied by April Hunter)
- Konnan picked up the EAWA's first win in tonight's war as he defeated Savage-T via TEQUILA SUNRISE to cut Minor League Wrestling's lead to 2-1.
Backstage: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase is in his office with Larry "the Axe" Hennig, the Terrible Turk, Ray Stevens, and Giant Baba.
- DiBiase tells all four of them that they are among the wrestlers he is going to use in tonight's war against the invading EAWA and he expects them to win their matches!
End of First Third. Second Third will be posted next and features more matches between Minor League Wrestling and the EAWA as Minor League Wrestling's invasion of the EAWA continues!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) EAWA Saturday February 14, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Third of the show, First Third is posted above)
Match #6: Larry "the Axe" Hennig defeated Steve Corino (managed by Larry Sweeney)
- In this "extremely" competitive match, Corino, looking like he would be at home here in an extreme rules brand like the EAWA, repeatedly smashed Hennig with a ringside weapon. But Hennig got the win via an elbow drop to get the EAWA tied up with Minor League Wrestling at 2-2 so far in tonight's war.
Match #7: The Terrible Turk defeated Delirious
- With no fear of getting DQd here in the EAWA with its extreme rules, The Terrible Turk once again got away with applying his controversial STRANGLEHOLD in plain sight of the referee to win this match and put the EAWA up 3-2 over Minor League Wrestling.
Match #8: Sam Hayne defeated Ray Stevens
- Hayne got the win via his DEVIL'S LOCK to tie once again tonight's score in the war at 3-3 each for the EAWA and Minor League Wrestling.
Match #9: Giant Baba defeated Drake Younger (accompanied by the Naptown Dragons)
- Baba suffered some serious offense from Younger which included a couple of attacks with a light tube right in front of the referee who was powerless to stop the attack due to the extreme rules nature of every EAWA match. Baba, however, managed a comeback and won via his NECKBREAKER DROP to give the EAWA a 4-3 lead over Minor League Wrestling.
Match #10: EAWA Tag Team Champions the Valiants defeated the Heartbreak Express (managed by Johnny Fairplay)
- The Valiants won when Jimmy Valiant pinned Superstar Sean Davis via a SUPER ELBOW to extend the EAWA's lead to 5-3 over Minor League Wrestling.

Match #11: The Destroyer defeated Playboy Buddy Rose

Match #12: The Crusher defeated Necro Butcher
- The Crusher overcame some serious trouble from Necro Butcher to win via his CRUSHER BOLO to give the EAWA a 2 point lead at 6-4 over Minor League Wrestling with just 3 more matches to go which means if the EAWA wins just 1 more match then they win tonight's war!
Match #13: Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero (managed by Larry Sweeney) defeated the Samoan Island Tribe
- Castagnoli and Hero in this match clearly over-matched the Samoan Island Tribe, who used to be in Minor League Wrestling prior to being promoted to Major League Wrestling last November, and won when Hero put Alofa away via the RUBIK'S CUBE.
- As a result, the EAWA's lead is cut to 6-5 but Minor League Wrestling still must win both remaining matches to win tonight's war.
Match #14: Minor League Wrestling Champion and Minor League Wrestling Tag Team Champion Mike Quackenbush (accompanied by Arik Cannon) defeated EAWA Champion Bob Orton Sr.
- In this matchup between inter-promotional champions, Quackenbush got the victory for Minor League Wrestling when he put Orton Sr. away via the QUACKENDRIVER III.
Backstage: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase along with Virgil and King Kong Bundy are seen watching tonight's matches on TV.
- DiBiase remarks that some of these Minor League Wrestling wrestlers are pretty good and he may have to consider signing some of them someday if they get promoted to Major League Wrestling.
- DiBiase, however, says that tonight's war is now down to the final deciding match and he's personally going to make certain that the EAWA wins tonight against the invaders from Minor League Wrestling.

- With the score tied up at 6-6, Cox also accompanied Pearce to ringside for this important deciding match.
- In an awesome match that saw DiBiase have to survive 3 pin attempts, DiBiase got the win via his MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER to give the EAWA a 7-6 victory in tonight's inter-promotional war against the invaders from Minor League Wrestling!
- But as tonight's show came to an end, Cox got on the microphone and threatened that Minor League Wrestling would continue invading Major League Wrestling shows, including tomorrow's Smackdown presentation of No Way Out, until his demands for Minor League Wrestling at Wrestlemania 2 are met!
- The TV announcers wonder aloud what are Cox's demands for Minor League Wrestling at Wrestlemania 2 and will Minor League Wrestling indeed invade No Way Out tomorrow as tonight's show comes to an end.

With now just 4 weeks to go until Wrestlemania 2, it's time for Major League Wrestling's (MLW's) Smackdown brand to present No Way Out!
No Way Out was preceded by a 30 minute edition of Major League Wrestling: Fight Night which recapped all the major story lines going into tonight's PPV and included the following dark match.
Dark Match: New Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey and Rapping Red Bastien) defeated The Mongols (managed by Sir Oliver Humperdink)
- This match ended when Condrey pinned Geeto Mongol via a gut wrench suplex
Major League Wrestling (MLW) No Way Out Sunday February 15, 2009 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Third of the PPV) (ratings are based on a 4 star system)
- As the show starts up, the TV announcers wonder aloud whether Minor League Wrestling will indeed invade tonight's show as they promised to do yesterday when they also invaded Saturday EAWA.
- Before the first match starts up, a TV camera focuses on the ringside area where legendary wrestler Andre the Giant is seen sitting in the first row where he is apparently enjoying The Major League Wrestling Arena's $1 beer policy as he has about 20 beers set up on the floor in front of him!
Match #1: Fritz Von Goering defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Jushin Liger in a triple threat Money in the Bank Qualifying match.** 1/2
- This match ended when Von Goering made Duggan submit to his BACKBREAKER.
- As a result, Von Goering wins a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 2!
Match #2: Boogie Woogie Man defeated Ivan Koloff (accompanied by manager Nikita Breznikov and Nikolai Volkoff) in a steel chain match. **
- Boogie Woogie Man was a man possessed on revenge in this match against his enemy Koloff as he absolutely dominated the offense in this match to the extent that Koloff couldn't even get in a single move of offense!
- With the crowd cheering loudly in support, the Boogie Woogie Man won this match after repeatedly going berserk in choking Koloff with the chain and then smashing Koloff in the face with the chain before pinning a bloody Koloff while holding the chain in a way to put extra leverage against Koloff's legs to prevent him from kicking out.
- As the Boogie Woogie Man jumps up with his hands in the air to celebrate his victory while many of the bettors in the crowd rip up their tickets, he is suddenly attacked from behind by Volkoff and Breznikov and then a recovering Koloff joins them in a 3 on 1 attack upon the Boogie Woogie Man.
- The Russians throw the Boogie Woogie Man out of the ring and then viciously throw him against the guard rail right in front of where Andre the Giant is sitting. The impact from the Boogie Woogie Man hitting the guard rail spills all 20 of Andre's beers all over the floor and also spills the beer that Andre is holding all over Andre himself!
- To the cheers of the crowd, an enraged and wet Andre the Giant steps over the guard rail and steps toward Koloff, Volkoff, and Breznikov who turn around and run back to the locker room in terror.
Match #3: Dan "the Beast" Severn defeated The Mountie*
- In a very short match, Severn got his revenge upon The Mountie by making him tap out to a heel hook.
- Afterward, Severn got further revenge against The Mountie by grabbing his SHOCK STICK and using it on him!
- But then, as The Mountie rolls out of the ring in pain, an amplified voice suddenly says "Minor League Wrestling's invasion of No Way Out has begun!"
- Minor League Wrestling Commissioner Charlie Cox, accompanied by Necro Butcher, appears at the top of the ramp where Cox gestures to Necro Butcher who proceeds to walk down the ramp and enters the ring where he gets in the face of Severn.
- As it looks like Severn and Necro Butcher are about to come to blows, Interim MLW Chairman Bob Backlund appears and announces that he's been given the authority from the injured regular MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino to negotiate Cox's demands for Minor League Wrestling at Wrestlemania 2 and invites Cox to the Hot Seat later tonight to negotiate these demands.
- Cox agrees to this, but warns if things aren't settled to his satisfaction on tonight's Hot Seat then Minor League Wrestling's invasion of Major League Wrestling shows will continue.
End of First Third. Second Third will be posted next and includes two title matches: Cruiserweight Champion Pepper Gomez vs Koko B. Ware and United States Champion Steve "Dr. Death" Williams vs Don Leo Jonathan plus a triple threat match of Buff Bagwell vs Mr. Canada vs Tiger Mask for a spot in Wrestlemania 2's Money in the Bank ladder match!

Match #4: Cruiserweight Champion Pepper Gomez defeated Koko B. Ware.*
- After shaking hands with Ware, RAW's Gomez won this match in just two moves! Gomez started off the match giving Ware an atomic drop and went for the pin which Ware kicked out of. But Gomez then immediately hit Ware with his MEXICAN CRADLE to win the match and retain his title.
Backstage: Mr. Canada (Billy "Red" Lyons) is informed by an MLW reporter that The Mountie due to being hit with his own SHOCK STICK by Dan "the Beast" Severn earlier tonight, won't be in his corner for the triple threat Money in the Bank Qualifying Match coming up next.
- Mr. Canada responds that he doesn't need The Mountie to win a spot in Money in the Bank- a match for which he created the concept of a year ago.
Match #5: Buff Bagwell defeated Mr. Canada and Tiger Mask in a triple threat Money in the Bank Qualifying match. * 1/2

Match #6: United States Champion Steve "Dr. Death" Williams defeated Don Leo Jonathan (managed by Killer Kowalski) ***
- In the first 3 star match of the night, Dr. Death was able to retain his United States Championship when he hit DLJ with a Doctor Bomb. Kowalski, Williams' former manager, jumped on the apron but Williams sent him crashing to the floor before using his OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE to secure the victory over DLJ.
- Afterward, Kowalski attacked Williams from behind with a steel chair and then savagely applied his KOWALSKI CLAW. Kowalski then told Williams he (Kowalski) was using his automatic title shot he won back at Survivor Series to challenge Williams for the United States Championship next month at Wrestlemania 2!
End of Second Third.
