I dont think that it is who is in the SCUM faction, and why, per se, the storyline is did Steen know about it, and approve, or was this all Corino's doing? Maybe Steen was just fine with SCUM how it was.....

I dont think that it is who is in the SCUM faction, and why, per se, the storyline is did Steen know about it, and approve, or was this all Corino's doing? Maybe Steen was just fine with SCUM how it was..... On last week's TV show Steen said as far as he was concerned the mission was accomplished when Jim Cornette was run out of ROH, and he no longer has a problem with the company (although Lethal said he didn't believe him and thought it was a psychological tactic going into their match at the 11th anniversary show). Corino and Jacobs are the ones intent on destroying ROH no matter what and it was Corino who brought in all of the "reinforcements" and recruited guys with a grudge. It was obvious at the 11th Anniversary show when Steen didn't participate in the post-match beatdown that he wants no part of this "new" SCUM faction. They're building a slow breakup but it seems like Steen will end up being the guy to lead ROH against SCUM at the end. As far as motivation and who belongs where, Titus got the tag team championship taken away from him when his partner left, got thrown into a team with BJ Whitmer, and then had BJ take the spotlight away from him. Titus didn't have a match at the 11th Anniversary show and has been an afterthought since All Night Express broke up. He belongs on SCUM based on the criteria. Cliff Compton is the only one who didn't have a clear-cut motivation that could be easily identified without them making up some back story.

Hopefully this event pans out better than the Age of the Fall did. AotF started out pretty cool but fizzled when members were shuffled around and ROH decided to make Tyler Black a bigger star. I think it can be tough for a smaller fed to keep something like this going long term because as soon as they elevate someone they run the risk of getting them cherry picked by WWE or TNA.

Age of the Fall stable fizzled when they said they were coming to kill ROH and did nothing but go after the Tag Titles.
