RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2017 Season Episode 34 The show opened with ROH World Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks, coming to the ring. They hyped up the crowd and when the noise died down, Matt Jackson spoke. “Hey, Nick. Guess what I did last night.”“Oh, I know what you did," his brother answered with a grin. “I was there.”“That’s right. But I’ll tell everyone anyway. Last night at Survival of the Fittest, I pinned ROH World Champion Adam Cole in our tag team match.”The crowd popped, starting up a “Too Sweet!” chant. “So,” Matt continued. “I think that means… I get a title shot?”The crowd erupted again. It wasn’t long before Adam Cole and Matt Taven came out. Cole was shaking his head, annoyed with the crowd and galled by Matt Jackson’s suggestion. “So, the two of you cheat, illegally double teaming me, and you think that gets you a shot at this?” Cole indicated the gold belt around his waist. “Well, forget it. As a matter of fact, we should be getting a rematch for the tag team titles after that travesty of officiating!”The crowd jeered Cole as the Jacksons conferred with each other. Matt countered. “How about this: you give me championship match tonight and, win or lose, we give you a tag team title match in two weeks?”The crowd blew up again as Cole looked around, caught between frustration and uncertainty. Taven consoled him and it was their turn to discuss it with each other. Composed, Cole glared piercingly at the two in the ring with renewed confidence. “Alright, you got it. Tonight, prepare to be embarrassed. And in two weeks, get ready to be humiliated even further when Affluence become the tag team champions once again!”Cole and Taven turned and left as the Bucks played to the crowd. Chris Sabin def. Cheeseburger by pin Sabin used Cheeseburger as a practice dummy, showing off to the unappreciative crowd. Burger was able to start a comeback but, before he could gain any momentum, Sabin wisely ended the match with Hail Sabin. Nick Jackson def. Matt Taven by DQ With their respective partners clashing in the main event, Taven and Jackson followed suit with this singles contest. The two got off to a clumsy start with some sloppy counters but Taven was soon in control. Matt got a little to cocky and went to the top rope one to many times as Nick caught him with a superkick as he landed. The two go back and forth with action in and out of the ring. The match closed with Taven smacking Nick with his own title belt and picked up the disqualification. Ring of Honor presents Final Battle live on Pay Per View from the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City! Already scheduled: Jay Lethal defends the ROH World Television Championship against Survival of the Fittest runner-up, Kenny King. War Machine take on Two Fisted, Adam Page and Joey Daddiego, in a Fight Without Honor grudge match. Tune in next week for more announcements! ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPAdam Cole(c) def. Matt Jackson by DQ Cole attacked Jackson during the Code of Honor and soon had Matt's shoulders to the mat for a two count after a brainbuster onto the knee. Adam tossed Matt to the floor and a brawl ensued. As the referee was trying to get the match back in the ring, he caught a superkick meant for Cole who ducked at the last moment. When he recovered holding his jaw, the ref disqualified Matt who was dumbfounded. Cole gleefully laughed then held up two fingers. “Two weeks. Two weeks until Affluence gets back what belongs to us.”

Haha! Adam Cole (Bay-Bay!) was just a little too slick for Matt Jackson... And it won't be long until Cole and Taven recover the tag belts... Affluence is TOO SWEET!

(pats ROH World Championship belt) Think you’ll be able to hold things down here?"Matt - "Of course. Affluence baby!"(Cole and Taven high five. The camera catches Veda Scott listening unseen from around the corner. Her seething gaze followed Cole and Taven as they walked away.)

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2017 Season Episode 35 Delirious def. Mark Briscoe by countout Mark Briscoe continued the fight against Punishment, this time facing the man from The Edge of Insanity. Mark took the early advantage but Delirious rebounded quickly after smashing Briscoe into the steel post. Bizarro Driver and Shadows Over Hell precluded a blast of Red Mist. Mark was blinded but kicked out of the pin attempt. Delirious battered Briscoe a while longer before Mark started a comeback. Froggy Bow was only good for a two count. More offense by Mark got cut off by Delirious who sent him into the post again. In a rare instance, the color video switched to monochrome to obscure the blood that began to seep from Briscoe’s head. Delirious trapped Mark in the corner of the barricade and hit him repeatedly with running knees. As the ref’s count climbed, Jay Briscoe came out, causing Delirious to retreat back into the ring. Mark tried regaining the ring but could not. Jay stood by helplessly, discouraged by the referee from helping his brother. Delirious won by countout. After the break, Jay Briscoe returned to the ring having helped Mark to the the back. “Awright. My brother’s gonna been fine and Punishment, y’all are gonna get what’s comin’ to ya. But there’s some other business I need ta take care of right now. And that business is you Adam Cole! Final Battle. Ring of Honor World Championship match. You got the stones, boy? Why don’t you come out here, like a man, and give me your answer?”The fans started a “Man Up!” chant as Jay paced the ring, waiting for the world champion to show. After a few minutes, someone did come out but it wasn’t Adam Cole. Instead, ROH producer Veda Scott walked down the aisle as the fans began to boo. Ignoring the derision, Veda responded to Briscoe’s demand. “Jay, since you’re out here, I figured it would be a good time to let you and the Ring of Honor fans know what has been lined up for you at Final Battle.”Veda turned and gestured towards the big screen. The face of Kenny Omega flashed onto the screen and the crowd popped. “Hi, Jay. Kenny Omega here, coming to you from Japan. Your name is always associated with ‘Day One’ in Ring of Honor. I suppose that kind of makes you the ‘alpha’ of ROH. But when Kenny Omega comes to town, it might be your last day in Ring of Honor. In New York City, it could very well be your… Final Battle. See you there.”Jay turned to Veda with disgust. “Kenny Omega?! I don’t give a damn about no Kenny Omega! I want Adam Cole!”“Adam’s… going to be busy that night. But you, Jay Briscoe, you need to be satisfied with a high profile match like this. You never know when these kind of opportunities might stop coming your way.”Jay glared after Veda as she made her exit. Joey Daddiego def. Shane Taylor by pin Survival of the Fittest winner, Daddiego, stepped into the ring with “Notorious” Shane Taylor in what promised to be a slugfest. The beating turned out to be very one-sided as Daddiego thoroughly pummeled Taylor. However, it did take Joey using rope leverage for the pin after a vertical suplex. Ring of Honor presents Final Battle live on Pay Per View from Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City: Kenny Omega returns to ROH to face Jay Briscoe! The Young Bucks battle Roppongi Vice. Jay Lethal defends the ROH World Television Championship against Kenny King. War Machine vs. Two Fisted, Adam Page and Joey Daddiego, in a Fight Without Honor. More announcements in the weeks to come! No DisqualificationThe All Night Express def. Punishment (Damien Martinez & BJ Whitmer) by pin After their extracurricular brawl at Survival of the Fittest, ROH officials gave ANX and Punishment an opportunity to settle their differences with relaxed rules. Kenny King and Rhett Titus ran roughshod over BJ Whitmer. This included Whitmer taking a chair shot from Titus and being on the receiving end ANX’s One Night Stand finisher. Titus connected with a Muff Driver and Martinez had to make the save. A pair of Thrust Busters by Rhett put BJ down for the count as Kenny used a spinning leg lariat to knock Damien from the apron, preventing the save. ANX looked strong in their destruction of Whitmer but Martinez never stepped between the ropes.

TTX , Pariah - Joey Daddiego is keeping his momentum. Praise the dice! And Pariah, are you sure you want to know what's going on with Adam Cole? Keep reading and you may change your mind. [ Posted on Ring of Honor Wrestling's Facebook page: Wolves At the Door (Adam Cole is backstage talking on a cell phone) “Seriously? You really think they were talking about me? Oh, this isn’t good. I… I gotta go.”(Verging on frantic, Adam hurriedly strides down the hall when a voice brings him to a halt) “Adam! Adam, can I see you for a minute?”(Veda Scott approaches, businesslike) “Veda. Veda, I really need to talk to you.”“Me first. I know we talked about getting your contract signed after Final Battle but the office wants it taken care of as soon as possible. I have it with me. Let’s go take care of it right now.”(The impatient Cole froze, at a loss for words) “Adam, are you all right?”“What? Yes. Wait. No. Look, the contract is going to have to wait. I’ve got bigger concerns right now.”(Veda eyes Cole quizzically) “I know you’ve been really helpful to me and Affluence but I need to ask for your help with one more thing.”“What’s that, Adam?”“Damien Martinez. You need to keep that big freak away from me. Him, Kevin Sullivan, all of them.”(Veda’s expression changed as a strange smile came across her face. The coy glint in her eyes made Adam uncomfortable) “Well… I can’t do that, Adam.”“What do you mean you can’t do that?” (Cole’s mix of irritation and confusion was met with a chilling smirk from Veda before she walked off camera) “Hey! Get back here! Veda! Wait, I’m sorry. Veda..?”

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2017 Season Episode 36 Adam Page def. Jay Briscoe by pin Briscoe was in a foul mood, being denied a World Championship match last week, instead being booked against Kenny Omega at Final Battle. Jay looked to take his frustrations out on Page, rattling him with a release spinebuster and tossing him out to the floor. Briscoe’s aggressiveness was his undoing as he charged right into a chair shot by Page. Jay took the the Rite of Passage twice and rolled out of the ring to regroup but Page wiped him out with a apron shooting star press. Pushing Jay back into the ring, Adam made the cover for the three count in a big upset. Dalton Castle def. Will Ferrara by pin Ferrara had a hot start but Castle took control on the mat and overpowered the smaller man, pinning him after a belly to belly suplex. In one week, Ring of Honor presents Final Battle live on Pay Per View from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City: Adam Cole defends the ROH World Championship against Damien Martinez Kenny Omega vs Jay Briscoe The Young Bucks vs Roppongi Vice Jay Lethal vs. Kenny King for the ROH World Television Championship War Machine vs. Two Fisted, Adam Page and Joey Daddiego, in a Fight Without Honor Four Corner Survival for a shot at the Television title: Rhett Titus vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Will Ferrara vs. Chris Sabin Matt Taven vs. Dalton Castle ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPThe Young Bucks(c) def. Adam Cole & Matt Taven by pin Affluence got this title match in exchange for Matt Jackson getting a shot at Adam Cole’s ROH World Championship two weeks ago. That bid was unsuccessful and now Matt and his brother Nick were playing defense as tag team champions against Cole and his partner Matt Taven. The Bucks enjoyed the opening minutes of the match as they made Taven look foolish with their antics. Taven avoided a jump from the top rope by Matt Jackson and turned the tide with a jarring piledriver. Cole came in to relieve his partner but the Jacksons made a hot tag. Adam and Nick exchanged counters with Cole connecting with a flying crossbody for a short two count. Both Matts tagged back in and Jackson landed a moonsault for a near fall. More Bang For Your Buck almost finished Taven but for a kick out at the last moment. A second More Bang For Your Buck did end it with Cole not even trying for the save. And with good reason. Kevin Sullivan, Damien Martinez, and BJ Whitmer were standing at the curtain. Cole was wide-eyed, slack-jawed and pale as a ghost. Sullivan was holding a sign that read: “Whose NXT, Adam?” The members of Punishment made no move toward the ring but Cole was already over the barricade, standing in the front row opposite of the ring entrance. The lights went out and there was a girlish scream, presumably from Cole. When the lights came back on, Punishment were gone. And so was Adam Cole? It took a moment for the cameras to find Adam cringing, hiding behind the fans in the front row. He looked up, bewildered, frightened and embarrassed. The Bucks were laughing and Taven was recovering, getting back to his feet, oblivious to what had just taken place.
