Looking forward to the finals. My sentiments exactly. The Ultimate Crockett Cup has been a wild, unpredictable ride!

The finals....
Fabulous Kangaroos (Roy Heffernan & Al Costello) (2) w/Wild Red Berry v. Masked Superstars (12) w/Bobby Heenan
Both teams looked battered as they make their way to the ring. Costello starts in against Superstar II and gets the big man off his game with a slap to the face. Within minutes Superstar II has eaten the ring rails and finds himself trapped in a MARBLE BOR LEGLOCK. Superstar powers out (R8/P4) and then gains the advantage at ringside. Superstar I is in and connects with a deathjump clothesline on Costello. Keeping with the neck Superstar applied the COBRA HOLD and Heffernan makes the save. Heffernan is eventually able to get in via a defensive tag and goes to work on Superstar leading up to a STEP OVER TOEHOLD but Superstar kicks him off (R10/P5). BOOMERANG. Superstar II makes the save. Costello works over Superstar on the floor before the Kangaroos combine for another BOOMERANG. Superstar II joins the action and battles both Kangaroos singlehandedly It is complete chaos in the ring as Superstar recovers sufficiently to join the battle. Berry goes after the Brain the floor choking him with his cane. The referee has lost complete control and signals for the bell. Both teams have been disqualified. The fans are stunned as security pulls the two teams apart. Promoters speak with the referee and then Gary Michael Cappetta announces the double disqualification. As a result, The Fabulous Kangaroos and Masked Superstars are declared co-winners. The fans fill the ring with trash showing their displeasure and no one is happy as the frustrated promoters look on. In a tournament full of controversial decisions and disqualifications, the biggest controversy is saved until the end with essentially no one winning the event. It is Ironic that the Kangaroos benefited from a double disqualification bye early in the tournament only to be burned by the same decision themselves in the finals.
It was a difficult decision to let the double DQ roll stand but in the end, the dice are what they are. And they were cruel this time around my fellow promoters.

Damn! Sorry I jinxed with the double dq question. Just when it happened in one of my tournaments, it just came to mind if you did this. Damn Kangaroos getting the benefit from it. Great tournament again. Warriors on the way in the next one.
