FROM WWE.COM WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. Warrior became WWE Champion at WrestleMania VI, defeating Hulk Hogan in an epic encounter. We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans. Warrior was 54 and is survived by his wife Dana and his two daughters.

Thought it was a hoax as well but then saw it on WWE.Com
Totally shocked
I think he knew he was dying when he was on Raw and it was his way of saying good Bye

My first thought was suicide, but I think the speculation over a terminal illness or major heart trouble is more likely to be correct (acknowledging that illness and suicide need not be mutually exclusive).
He simply didn't look well all weekend, and even for his rather out-there standards, his speech on Raw in retrospect really comes off as his own epitaph. It would possibly also explain why he and the WWE went from not being on speaking terms for years to rushing out a new DVD set and HOF induction.

"No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats it's final beat, his lungs breathe their final breath. And what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others. It makes them bleed deeper in something larger than life. Then his essence, his spirit will be immortalized by the story tellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him and make the running the man did live forever." - Ultimate Warrior on RAW, April 7th, 2014.
What an absolute shock and tragic loss. RIP Ultimate Warrior.

Wow, just wow. Shocked to see this. Haven't been watching much WWE lately, but watched RAW on Monday. Warrior looked awkward down the aisle and winded in the ring, but I never would have imagined...
RIP Ultimate Warrior!
