RIP Warrior from someone who remembers when you were one half of the Bladerunners.

I don't think many young wrestling fans at that time could help but get caught up in the Ultimate Warrior's aura. His promos were completely insane and he was pretty limited in the ring but his energy made it all work. I still say, I'd love to see him in LOW. I would love to see the crazy promos promoters would produce for his character.
RIP. Glad he got his final couple days in the spotlight before this.

I feel bad he died of course but on a positive note, it's nice what he said to his daughters during his HOF speech. That would be a great last big memory of a parent who passed, hearing them say (in front of 20,000 people) their greatest accomplishment was being your father. While their lives will never be the same, at least they'll have that to hold onto.
Obviously he had some pre-existing heart condition (whether he knew it or not). Perhaps the positive stress (although still stress) of the weekend was too much for his heart to handle? We'll probably never get the real answer. Nice to see him patch things up with WWE before he passed.
What a weird few days in wrestling. The Streak ends and now this.

I'm sure there are those who remembered him first as Dingo Warrior.

It's funny because he has been bashed in the past for lack of wrestling talent but he had some pretty incredible matches in his run - all three of his matches vs Rick Rude at PPVs were good. Hogan - Warrior at WM6 was off the charts. And the two matches with Savage at WM7 and Summerslam 92 were awesome. I guess if someone pressed me i'd say the WM7 match vs Savage was the best. I was convinced Savage would win as I thought the WWF wouldn't want to end Savage's career and given his history saw Savage as more important. Thankfully the Warrior triumphed.
What a guy. It's a shame he didn't have more years as a main eventer. Unfortunately the feud with the WWF robbed us. It felt all too short!

The SummerSlam 1989 match with Rude is one of my favorite matches of all time. It gets so overlooked because of how meh the WM V and SummerSlam 90 matches were and it's a shame. Warrior also had good matches with Ted DiBiase, Mr. Perfect and even the match with Dino Bravo from the February 1990 Main Event isn't that bad at all. He was far from terrible.
